Skeletons in the closet? No they are on my acrylic block!

Hi it's Clare here again with my weekly Bee Crafty spot. I know it's not quite Halloween yet but with the gloomy weather this week it certainly has felt autumnal! Needless to say with the fabulous new All Hallows' stamps it seemed rather apt to have a play with my new stamps.

For this card I have used
I started by stamping my image with a watermark ink pad, a sprinkle of embossing powder and heat set the image. After that I brushed on my selected colours of inks. I then flicked the card with water and left for a short time for the water to react and blotted with a paper towel. A stamp around the edge of the card using the zebra backdrop stamp made an effective border. Finally I stamped trick or treat onto some red card and heat embossed with black embossing powder.
Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my blog I love to hear your thoughts and comments.
Crafty hugs,

Here Comes Santa

Good Morning Everyone,

How are we all today? Hope you are all enjoying your bank holiday weekend.

Today I thought I would share with you a Christmas Gift Bag, I created with two stamps from the Yuletide range.

So I started with a plain brown gift bag, I matted it with white card stock and then red polka dot paper, on to this I matted a further white layer that was matted with a wordy Christmas paper. I added a white border and a green strip across the center of the bag, the ribbon  was added and attached to it, with a further piece of ribbon tucked in and pulled to create the Knot. I stamped my Santa onto 300gsm card stock I used a black ink pad for this and left him black and white, I added fake stitching around the Santa and added him to a red square. I repeated the same steps with the sentiment stamp.

To finish the bag I added two pieces of green ribbon to each side of the handle, three green card candi pieces and three red card candi pieces.

I think it come out great and would love to read your thoughts on it, don't forget to  leave a comment also for anyone on Facebook Bee Crafty have a page which is updated with all the latest news and a group for you to share your projects with us.

Happy Bank Holiday

Hi it's Clare here with my weekly blog for Bee Crafty. My card this week is a bit on the blue side although it doesn't reflect my mood. I still have a couple of weeks off to enjoy and it's my birthday on Friday (not sure if I should be happy about that another year older and wiser....... Definitely older, not sure about the wiser part).

For this card I have used :

Beautanicals dandelion stamp

Wordage minis, special thoughts

Distress inks

Liquid pearls

Memento black ink

Glitter from stash

I started off by masking my card and stamping with clear watermark ink and heat embossing with clear ep. Then I brushed on my blue background with distress inks. After that I stamped the dandelion in black. Finally I added some liquid pearls and some glitter and then a few more liquid pearls on their own.

Bee Crafty have just launched a super new range of Halloween stamps aptly named 'All Hallows' you can check them out by clicking on the above link.

That's me for today I'm off to try out my fabby new All Hallows' stamps. Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog all comments and new followers welcome.

Damask

Hi
Well this card was a pain
but ended up loving it

I used

Inkables 6x6 Template ~ Damask

Joy stamp
Stencil Dimensions Bronze paste (another first)
Fine black marker (big mistake) lol

I taped the stencil down onto white card
went over it with the Dimensions paste
I took it off and had to wait for it to dry
( i left it over night to be safe)
but  dont think you have to
Then I went all round it with  the black marker
went a bit onto the Bronze went to clean it off
and smudge it OH............
but still carried on didnt look right
so decided to go over all of it with
Distressed Inks
Yes it smudged more but no one would know
so left it
mounted it onto brown then pink card then onto main card
add the sentiment

All about the Fern

Morning Crafty Friends,

How are we all doing?

Today I thought I would share with you a  card that I made with a male in mind.

I used the two different fern stamps that you get with the pack - and stamped one with pine needles distress ink, and the smaller one with black soot distress ink, I randomly stamped these in all different directions.

I stamped the "Thank You" from the Wordage range.

I added a piece of ribbon and finished with a bow and three pieces of card candi.

I hope you like this, it is a little different for me and I think it could be used for a birthday card as well.

I am back next Monday and I have a gift bag to share with you then, don't forget to pop back each day to see what the rest of the Design Team have created.

Marleen DT - Glad Lg.

Hello everyone..

A quick post today to share some inspiration.

For this week, I once again played with the stamp called

You can find it in the STORE..

For this week I made a quick gift box. Its made using the gift box punch board from We R Memory keepers. I got it from C&C a few weeks back and have been dying to have a play with it.

Once box was made, I simply just stamped my "Glad Lg" stamp and cut it out with a die. The die cuts both the inner part as well as the frame and I just smothered both in distress ink before adding it to the box. Finished the box with some rafia and the rose embelishment made with a mold and melt pot.

And that is all from me for today.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

Well Hello Shirley

Good Morning

My turn to share with you what I have created to share with you for inspiration.

This week I am sharing "Shirley"

I love Shirley she is so cute, with her mad hair and glasses, she is perfect for any age.

As it is summer I thought I would go with Bright and Funky colours, this is really not my normal colour scheme but it is so cheerful and bright I thought it would certainly stand out.

The base is an 8 by 8 white card blank with Bright Pink and Lime Green colour card stock which have been cut down by a 1/4 of an inch to give a nice border.

I used a designer paper from my stash which luckily complimented the image and my colour scheme perfectly.

I stamped Shirley out onto 300gsm card stock cut her out using a spellbinder die, and coloured her with promarker pens.

Hair; Walnut, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Sandstone
Top; Wild Cranberry, Pink Lobster, Rose Pink
Skirt; Leaf Green, Grass Green, Apple
Boots; Apricot, Honeycomb, Oatmeal
Skin; Ivory, Blush, Oatmeal, Sunkissed Pink
Glasses; Apple
Eyeshadow- Soft Aqua (Flex Marker)
 Lips - Vermillion (Flex Marker)
Edging - Soft Aqua

To finish the card I added a green wavy border with a pink strip across the center of it, I then added a sheer green ribbon and knotted it at one end.  I used a photo corner die in the green added to each corner. Finally to finish the card I punched out four flowers two in each colour and added gems to the center of the flowers and to the center of the corner dies.

I hope you like what I have shared with you and please don't forget you can share your creations with us over at the "Bee Crafty Stamps Facebook group" and our Bee Crafty Page.

Thanks for stopping in, don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see what else the DT have in store for you.

Summertime flowers

Hello fellow bloggers. I hope you have all had a good week? Still not too sure about mine. I finally managed to make into the cellar to start creating my crafty space and ended up nearly knocking myself out! After clearing one side of the cellar I whacked my head on the entrance door and have ended up with a huge lump on my head and a touch of concussion! Needless to say when I venture back in I shall indeed be wearing a helmet.

Here is my Bee Crafty make for this week.

For this card I have used:

BEAUtanicals leaves stamps

Wordage sunshine, freedom & flower stamps

Distress inks

BEAUtanicals cow parsley (flower stems)

Liquid pearls

First of all I stamped the leaves masking off the previous leaf so there was no overstamp. I also stamped the sentiment and heat embossed the stamping with black powder. Using inks I coloured in the flowers. I stamped the smaller leaf and embossed with clear ep. I applied glossy accents to the flower and set it aside to dry. A while later I blended in distress inks over the background and added some liquid pearls to the white leaves.

Marleen DT - "Maidenhair"

Heeellloooooo.... Blogger friends :-)

Can you believe its wednesday AGAIN???
At this rate it will be christmas in a heartbeat ;-)

Time for my inspiration post for

This week Ive had another play with my "Maidenhair" stamp.
Here is what I hvae made:

Ohhh I have to be honest.. I looooove this project..
I love the stamp and this time using it for a back ground was really fun.
I simply just stamped with Versamark then covered with white embossing powder.
Once powder was melted I had a play with my distress inks and voila, background was done..

My "topper" is made with a few bits made in my meltpot, a bow and a tag greeting.. All very simple but so effective,

And that is all from me for today.
Thank you for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

FASHIONettes ~ Phoebe

Hi
Fashionette Phoebe
What can I say about her
But love her
a dream to color
(like the others)

So I used

and card from stash
6x6 card

I decided not to do my own backing paper for
Phoebe
as I think she didnt need it I wanted her to stand out
So I just used my paper to mount onto card
Stamped Phoebe in memento ink
and colored her in with pro-markers
mounted her onto a dark pink card with three little tags at the side
added the Happy Birthday
 Something different

Never Regret Something That Made You Smile

Good Morning.

Monday again and it is my turn to share with you what I have created.

So today I thought I would share with you a creation I made using the "Never Regret" stamp from the Wordage collection.

I LOVE this stamp the saying is so beautiful and can be used for so many occasions.

The card is in the shape of a DL but it is cut to 8 inches and folded in half to give the front a base of 4 inches.

Each layer is a 1/4 inch smaller than the last layer to give a nice border around.

The top layer is in two sections with the blue being 3 inches wide.

The Sentiment "Never Regret" (large)   from the Wordage range has been stamped using a clear stamp pad and embossed using a fine silver embossing powder.

I ran the blue section through my embossing machine and used the Inkables Chain Link Fence Mask

To finish the card I added white liquid pearls to the center of the "chain links" and to the edge of the sentiment.  I also added velvet ribbon in one full piece and a second piece which I cut down and folded to create a "bow" I secured this into place with a "pearl" brad.

  Items I used
Blue and White card stock
Silver embossing powder
Liquid Pearls
Ribbon
Brad

Well that is it for me for another week, I hope you have liked the inspiration.
Don't forget to share with us what you have created using our stamps over on our Facebook Page.

Family

Hi it's Clare again with my weekly blog for Bee Crafty. Well I said last week that I was going to try something different each week and that is exactly what I have done. When I was scooting around on Sunday I found some little wooden hearts and thought that is something I haven't done before.

For my heart I have used:

Dylusions crushed grape

Dylusions white linen

Inkables template damask

Beautanicals cow parsley stamp

Family masterpiece small stamp

Liquid pearls

Gesso

I started off by giving the heart a coat of gesso and waited for it to dry. I then sprayed with crushed grape and once again let it dry. With the Inkables damask stencil I sprayed it with dylusions white linen, yes you've got it, for the final time it was drying.

A while later I stamped with a versamark ink pad the sentiment and cow parsley and sprinkled with black embossing powder. Finally I added some white opal liquid pearls ( they are white, for some reason they seem to adopt the colour underneath) and replaced the twine and some ribbon from my stash.

That's me over and out for another week. I wonder what I will get upto next week.

Big hugs,

Clare x x x
