Emily DT - Dandelions

Hi everyone,

It's lovely and sunny where I am today and so I have created a beautiful, sunny, colourful card to show you. Here's the card I've made...

I have used the new large dandelion stamp to create a background. I have inked up just the head part with yellow, orange and red pigment inks and stamped it numerous times, covering the card.

I stamped the Wonderful sentiment onto a scrap of white card and mounted it onto black. I then stuck this onto my background using foam pads for dimension.

I mounted the whole thing on black and then onto a card blank.

I'm happy with how it turned out and this style of card can be done in any colour combination, with lots of different sentiments.

Hope you like it!

Ground Elder stamp set inspiration - Marleen DT.

Heeeeelllooooo Everyone :-)

Once again wednesday and once again my turn for a bit of inspiration using the fabuuuuuleeeessss stamps from Bee Crafty..

For today I've used the new stamps that Bev showed us on Hochanda a few weeks ago. I LOVE these stamps and have to admit I still havent removed mine from my table lol.. even when the NEW STAMPS landed hehehehe... New stamps?? I hear you ask.. YEP thats right.. Bev will be on Hochanda again very soon. I dont have the excact date and time so keep an eye out in the

I've used the stamp set called "Ground Elder" but dont forget you can buy each stamp individually. Just go in under the "BEAUtanical" tap under "Stamps".
You can find these stamps and all the other yummy goodies in the STORE.

Both tags were made with a simple distress ink background. Both tags were then stamped with versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The lines and the edges of the tags are done with clear embossing powder as well.
The tag on the left has then been smothered with a brown distress ink that makes the colour under the clear embossing powder to "pop" up.
I finished both tags with a couple of water splashes for a bit of extra interest.

And that is all from me for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

DT Kerrie - Make a Wish - Dandelion

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

I would love to share with you how I made this shaped card

I have used the 'BEAUtanicals - Dandelion' stamp set

First I diecut 2 sizes of Giant Label shapes using some of my larger die's from my stash
One I cut using white pearlescent card and one from gold pearlescent card. I fixed the smaller gold shape to the front of the white shape - to make this card front stand up like a portrait I fixed an A6 cardblank to the reverse to work as a stand.

I stamped the large Dandelion Seeds stamp from the set onto a piece of kraft card which I then tied brown organza ribbon around and matted brown mirror board

I stamped the large Dandelion onto a piece of linen card but with the stem curved on the stamp block. I then stamped the smaller Dandelion twice along the bottom of the card. I stamped the smaller Dandelion Seeds around the top corner to look like they are blowing away from the large flower. I inked around the edges and then matted with brown mirror board.

I stamped the 'Make a Wish' sentiments, trimmed them, inked the edges and matted on brown mirror board. I then fixed all the pieces onto the card front at jaunty angles.

Emily DT - Dandelion

Hi everyone,

This week I have gone back to a favourite of mine - Brusho paints.

I always 'mass make' bits of Brusho card when I have them out so for this project I used a piece of card from my stash.

Here is the card...

I stamped and embossed the large dandelion onto the card and I didn't want to do much more as I love the background colours.

I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of white card and mounted it on black. I added it to the card using foam pads.

I love how this card turned out. It is very simple, but I think it shows off the Brusho paints and the stamps beautifully.

I hope you like it!!

Marleen, Vibrant flower card.

Morning blogger friends..
Another week gone and we are back to wednesday and my spot for
For today I've made a card using the stamps that was on Hochanda a few months ago.
I've used the "Fabulous Flowers - Corner" stamp as well as the "Butterflies set 2" stamp. My greeting is also fro Bee Crafty and is the "Happy Birthday/With Love" set.
Make sure you check out the STORE for all the other amazing stamps.

I had som much fun making this card. I have to say pictures dont do the colour justice, it's far more vibrant then shown here but I couldnt get a better picture..
Background is distress ink with a stencil and clear embossing powders. I then stamped with my trusty friend Black Archival and added gold embodding powder to the egdes.
I made the flowers by stamping on to plain cardstock, colouring with the same colours I used for my background, cutting them out and adding first gold embossing powders to the edges and then a coat of clear embossing powder.
The butterfly is made the same way and my greeting also.

And that is it from me for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

DT Kerrie - BEAUtanicals 'Dandelion' - Family Masterpiece

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

I wanted to share with you one of my makes showing how to use up off-cuts of pretty papers. If like me and you horde pretty paper off-cuts because you don't like to waste them - teaming them up with Beautiful Stamps from Bee Crafty is the perfect way to use them up and make Pretty Cards

I've had this pretty piece of paper for about a year and its such a shame for it not to have been used. It was an odd sized piece of paper so I made a cardblank to fit it using a piece of white pearlescent cardstock

I then chose a chalky ink to match one of the colours in the paper for this one I picked a cloudy blue, I inked the edges of the pretty paper using the cloudy blue ink and then stamped the large 'Dandelion' stamp from the 'BEAUtanicals - Dandelion' set onto an off cut of white pearlescent cardstock

I matt & layered using a chalky grey pearlescent cardstock which tied all the colours together - I love this sentiment from the 'BEAUtanicals - Ground Elder' stamp set - to finish the card nicely I used some pale blue flat back pearls

Spring Flowers for a Spring Saturday.....Barbara DT

Hi everyone, Saturday again, and what a beautiful morning it is here....hope you all manage to see some lovely sunshine this weekend, Summer is on it's way....yay!!
This week, I've made a card using the gorgeous stamp called 'Star Flowers' from the Fabulous Flowers set.....this is the first time I've used this particular stamp, but it's so pretty, I'll certainly be doing more with it.
Firstly I covered a piece of linen cardstock with Pan Pastel chalks in yellow & red, then I stamped the 'Star Flowers' twice in Versafine 'vintage sepia'. On a separate piece of chalked card, I stamped again, and cut-out a few of the flowers.
I stamped the sentiment (love this one) and layered up the flowers. I ran around the edges of the flowers with gold wax, but it looks white on the pic, sorry ........I added a butterfly from the 'Butterflies Set 1' and matted onto black cardstock and a white card base.
Well that's it for this week, hope you like my card enough to leave a comment, they are much appreciated.
Happy weekend,
Barbara xx

Im pretty sure that anyone who knows Bee Crafty has seen the stamps by now lol, but I had a few samples done for the show that didnt make it to the screen.

Yes I have posted them in the Bee Crafty Facebook group, but until now I havent blogged them. So why not today ;-)

Using the new stamps, which you can all find in the STORE, here are all my samples, I made for the show.

The samples has all been made using various mediums and tecniques but most of all I had fun making them. And I just adore the stamps, I still havent made up my mind which ones are my favorite.
And that is all from me for today.

Kerrie DT - Ground Elder - 'Every Hour is a DREAM'

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

Today I wanted to Share one of my Samples from Last Week's 'Hochanda Shows' and give you some details of how I made it

I used the Ground Elder from the 'BEAUtanicals - Ground Elder Set' and one of the Sentiments from the 'BEAUtanicals - Dandelion Set

I have been on a declutter and using up crafty stash mission of late and part of that has been to use up some of my offcuts from my storage drawers - so for this card I chose this pretty pink and brown paper offcut and teamed it up with a pink dotty offcut and a sheet of brown pearlescent cardstock to tie the colours together - I cut two large flag shapes for the background and then used some round dies from my stash to cut the topper. on a plain piece of watercolour cardstock which again was an offcut I stamped the 'Ground Elder' using brown archival ink, I then die cut the watercolour cardstock using a smaller round die and inked around the outside using 'Spun Sugar' 'Worn Lipstick' and 'Abandoned Coral' distress inks and a round inking tool

I layeered up all the elements making sire to back them all using the brown pearlescent cardstock to tie all the colours together - I also coloured some white flatback pearls using a brown alcohol marker to tie these into the colour scheme too - I always buy these perals in white and my gems in clear so I can colour them to any theme rather than trying to match up the papers to random coloured gems

Thank You so much for visiting the Bee Crafty Blog today - I hope I have inspired you to use up any of those offcuts you keep for 'Just in Case' I know we all have them

Barbara - DT - Sunny Saturday.....

Hello everyone, Barbara here,  it's time for another Saturday blog from me.....
I LOVE the first Saturday of the month, as I hold my workshop in Chippenham, Wiltshire.....this month we'll be using some of the fab new stamps that Bev at BEE CRAFTY unveiled on Monday on the Hochanda channel.....didn't the new sets look fabulous?? I still can't make my mind up which set I like best, but I do have a soft spot for the 'Ground Elder'.
Anyway, I've had my Pan Pastels out today, as I was a bit short of time and they blend so quickly and easily.
I masked off a portion of my card with an 'Inkables' stencil to make the sun, and blended red, orange & yellow Pan Pastels to form a background.
I masked off the background to colour the sun, very gently!
Then I was able to start stamping with Ground Elder, Teasel and birds stamps, using Versafine in Toffee and Sepia.
A little die-cut sentiment finished off the card.
Hope you like it enough to leave a comment, they are always much appreciated .
Catch you all during the week,
Barbara x

Emily DT - Love

Hi everyone, yet another week has gone by and it's time for another project from me.

This week I have done a quick easy card using two Bee Crafty stamps.

Here is the card...

I started by stamping the wire heart frame in Abandoned Coral distress ink and again on scrap paper. I cut out the scrap one and used it as a mask. Using the mask I went over the whole thing using the Inkables dots mask and Abandoned Coral distress ink. This way the heart was left plain.

I stamped the Love stamp across the middle and mounted the whole thing on black.

That's it finished! A very quick card that can be done in any colour.

Hope you like it!

Marleen using the Dandiloion Stamp

Hello blogger friends..

The days are ticking by here and before I know it, it's once again wednesday..
And wednesday means...

Did you catch our Bev on Hochanda monday last? Was'nt she great.. as usual.. :-)
Great inspiration and some fantastic samples from the whole Design Team..
It really makes my day when I see my cards on TV..

Anyway.. if you follow my on FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram or have liked my FB page, you will have seen all my samples I made for the show.. And if you dont, COME AND JOIN ME :-)
For today I decided to to have a go at BRIGHT colours used with the new stamps.
I was inspired by my teamie's colourful samples. Im more of a sepia tone girl myself, but I do love colours as well so thought I'd have a go..

I used the Dandelion set as seen on Hochanda. But make sure you check out the STORE for all Bev's amazing stamps.

This is a very simple card. Simple matting and layering. I used a textured card to work on and simply smothered it in my distress ink in 2 bright colours. I did the ghosting tecnique Bev was showing on the show with a stencil, as well as some water splashes and let them dry before stamping with black Archival. I finished with a couple of hand drawn lines around the card to frame it.

Ghost tecnique: once you made your background with distress ink, lay a stencil over your project. Mist with WATER. Remove stencil and either leave to dry or roll a kitchen roll over your project to remove excess water. Careful not to drag kitchen roll over project as it will romove more ink then in the desired places

And that is all from me today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.
