Paula DT - Greatness Girl

Shopping List

Inspired by Banksy ~ Greatness Girl
Bee Crafty Art Stamps ~ Steampunk Stories: Cogs Set
Inkables Template ~ Metal Work Alpha
Inkables Template ~ Offset Dots
Distress Ink Pads : Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Festive Berries
Versafine Onyx Black
Dylusions Spray Ink by Dyan Reaveley ~ Black Marble

1.First of all, mask off a border along the left hand side, the top and the bottom of the card. Stamp the Greatness Girl in black ink straight on to the front of the card blank. Stamp the girl again but this time on to a piece of copier paper. Trim her out and use this as a mask.
2.Pick up some Mustard Seed Distress Ink and wipe over the card starting from the left and then fading out as you come across the card front.
3.Place the Metal Work Alpha template over the card front and ink through using a mix of the Carved Pumpkin and Festive Berries Distress Ink. Take the Offset Dots and randomly ink through with black ink.
4.Stamp the cogs and spring.
5.Take a credit card or something similar and drag one of the long edges directly across the black ink pad then stamp and/or drag it across the card randomly.
6.Take the lid from the Dylusions Spray Ink and ink the rim up and stamp on to the card, as shown.
7.The quote that comes with the girl has drips coming down from it, ink this part of the stamp and then randomly stamp from the bottom of her shoes or the cogs etc.
8.Pick up some Dylusions Black Marble spay ink up with a paint brush then tap and flick it over the card.
9.Stamp the quote on to a piece of card. Cut each line out and stick on to the front of card, as seen.
10.Finally, remove all the masks.

Just the little detail of the pant dribbles breaking the straight edge as well as the fade across to "barely there" on the right are perfect here, love it!
