Hello!
Today on the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty Blog I am sharing a few of the samples that I made using the Wildflower stamps. Usually I would tend to stamp these in black over a background, so this time I tried hard to use the stamps with colour, and these are the samples that I am sharing.
The background for this diorama card was created using acrylic paint with a brayer and then stencilled with a variety of the d'inkables. The background flowers were stamped using sparkle pens and then the front flowers using black embossing powder onto heat resistant acetate.
This was one of my favourite samples. I used the largest of the MDF tags, first coating with white gesso then using bright acrylic paints in layers. I used the same colours with the d'inkables plus a bit of white. I then stamped the flowers and the birds using a variety of archival inks. I didn't want there to be any black on this project so used the dark blue ink to stamp the sentiment and then cut it into two pieces for the tag.
I went for a more muted look with this piece of MDF, one of the door hangers. Vintage tones were used in the background and then more earthy tones with the flower stamps. I almost always stamp sentiments onto card and mount them on my project, but this time I decided to stamp the sentiment straight on using black, then added a bit of black ink around the edges of the tag to frame the project.
Here are the products used...
* MDF
* Wildflower 1
* Wildflower 2
* Wildflower 3
* Wildflower 4
* Wildflower 5
* Wildflower 6
* Friendship Quotes
* D'Inkables
Thank you for looking and happy crafting!

Emily DT - Wildflower Samples
Hi everyone, I hope you managed to catch Sam on Hochanda earlier this week with the gorgeous new Wildflower stamps. The original three wildflowers are some of my favourite Bee Crafty stamps and I use them a lot. The new set of three complement the original ones beautifully and are so versatile.
Below are my samples I made for the show. A lot of the backgrounds for these were made by either applying Distress Ink to my blending mat and 'mopping up' with a piece of card, or by swiping the ink pads directly onto card.
They are all made using Distress Inks and water, and then stamping over the top in Memento ink.
I hope you like these cards. They are the sort of cards I love to batch make and add a sentiment when I need a card quickly.
See you next week!

Here are the samples I made for this show:
This
one is distress ink blended in a rainbow effect and then just plain
stamping on top. I have cut up some of my greetings to I can use the
words seperate from each other. If you dont want to cut up your stamps,
just mask over the parts you dont want to ink, remove the mask and stamp
:-)
This
art board, I cant take all the credit. It was inspired my my teamie
Charlee. When these brick art boards landed Charlee was the first to add
texture to hers. I absolutely loved her idea and admit I totally stole
it.. I'll link to hers HERE so you can see the original idea.
Anyway..
I used a grit texture paste to create the texture, I just added a wee
bit of paste to the bricks and once dry I used a mixture of Distress
sprays and Lustre Luxe to get the background colours.
I stamped my WildFlower and heat set with black embossing powder and finished with a wee sentiment from the friendship collection.
This
one was really fun to make.. I started by stamping my moon and the
flowers in Archival Ink. Just to make sure the stamping would stay put
and not smudge when I added colour.
All my colours was added as sprays. I have several kinds of sprays from several companies, but my favorites are my Distress ones. I finised with a home made Lustre Luxe spray to add the top coat of shimmer..

This
one is Oxide inks. The yellows are added with the blending tool and I
also used oxides to stamp the moon and flower. I finished by stamping my
greeting wiht versafine black ink.
An
MDF tag. Went strait on with Oxide and once fully dry I stamped and
heat set with black embossing powder. I added a few bats using the wee
Dinkable and a black pen.
And
last but not least.. Once again Oxide added with the blending tool in a
faded effect. I stamped the moon in the same colour and used the star
Dinkable with a white gel pen. I also drew around the moon to male sure
it realy stood out.. I finished by stamping a selection of the wild
flowers.
And that is it for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Charlee DT - Wildflower Samples
Morning crafters. Hoope your all excited to see Sam on Hochanda today at 11am and 3pm with these amazing new wildflowers.
This one was done using the landscape inkables and using distress ink in evergreen bough. I stamped the moon in nuvo hybrid metro grey and the main wildflower in versafine.
I used dylusions paint on this. Bubblegum pink on the background and calypso teal through the sunset inkable. I then stamped the wildflowers in nuvo hybrid ink in nuvo hybrid black shadow.
For this one I did a wash with sparkle pens. The moon and lighter wildflowers are stamped in versafine smokey grey. The main wildfower is stamped in versafine oynx black, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
I used the easyframe circle and placed it in the centre of my card. Using a stencil brush I brushed blueprint sketch distress oxide all through it. I then stamped the moon in a grey colour. I then slightly bent the birds on a wire stamp on my block to make it more curverd. I removed the easy frame and taking one of the new wildflowers I also slightly curverd that on my block and stamped round the circle doing second and third generartion stamping.
I used bundlend sage distress ink through the trees inkable. I then stamped the wildflowers in crushed olive distress ink. I stamped the main wildflower in a grey ink.
I used squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin and picked raspberry distress ink to make the background blending round in cirlces. I used a grey ink for the wildflowers in the background and a black ink for the sentiment and main wildflower.
Using the octagon easyframe and using my stamping platform. I used all the wild flowers in this sample.I used a veratity of green distress inks and would layer the colours on top.
For the back ground I used my aquatints. I then die cut a rectange to create a window. The wildflower is stamped in versafine and I went over with a clear sparkle pen.
I masked of a panel on my card and used picked raspberry and ripe persimmon distress ink. I think stamped a couple of wildflowers in a grey ink and then the main one in black ink. I then used pink and clear nuvo drops.
Using picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade and ripe persimmon distress ink to make the back ground. I then made a smalle circle mask and blended ripe persimmon round the endges. The moon is stamped in a grey ink and the birds on a wire and sentiment is stamped in versafine.
All stamps and inkables can be found on the bee crafty website

Jane DT - Butterfly Crackle Tag
Hello!
Today on the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog I wanted to create and share a project with lots of texture and layers so I used one of the MDF tags as they are great for mixed media. Here is the project that I created...
I started by priming the tag with white gesso before applying crackle paste all over with a palette knife. This was so that the paste would be at different depths across the tag making a range of crackle sizes once it had air dried...
Next I used shimmery spray inks to add colour. I love the combination of brown and teal so used sprays within that colour scheme. I dried the inks between layers to build up the colour gradually until it was as I wanted.
To create a defined edge around the tag I used gold gilding wax and also added a small amount across parts of the crackles too. For extra dimension and layers I then used the multi mini distressed diamond background stamp with sepia archival ink, then sparkle paste though the distress harlequin d'inkable...
The large butterfly was stamped in the same ink as the diamonds then coloured with spectrum aqua pens. The same was done twice with the smaller butterfly. As I wanted the butterflies to be the focal points of the tag, I added glossy accents to all of them then sprinkled in a few micro beads. Once they had dried I added them with glue gel to create extra dimension...
Finally I added one of the XL sentiments to a piece of card and dusted over with distress ink sprinkling on some water to create some lighter spots...
Here are the links for the products that were used:
* MDF - Large Tag
* Art Stamps - Large Butterfly
* Art Stamps - Birds and Butterflies Set 1
* Wordage - Everyday Sentiments 1 XL
* Backdrops - Multi Mini Distressed Diamonds
* D'inkables - Distressed Harlequin
Thank you for reading and happy crafting,
Jane xx

Once again my turn to share a bit of inspiration for BeeCrafty..
For today I've made a journal page with one of the new Art Stamps. You can find them all in the STORE
I
started by stamping my art stamp right in the centre of the page and
heat set it with white embossing powder. The stamp I used is called "Circle of life".
I love this stamp. Its so unusual, but it was also the inspiration for
this page. I used a few more stamps to finish the page. I used the "Texture Circles" and I used the bottom of the "Fly Away"
stamp. I stamped using the "Picket Fence" Distress ink hence the smokey
colour of the stamping. I finished the page using the "Circles" Dinkable with a white gel pen.
And that is it for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Lorre-Anne DT - Hochanda Art Stamps samples
Hi everyone, it's Monday so I'm back to share some of my Bee Crafty DT cards with you all... and this week I'm sharing the samples I made for Bev's recent show on Hochanda. These new stamps by Bee Crafty are awesome... I've not seen anything like this before and I absolutely love them!
Materials
- Art stamps - Circle of Life & Fly Away
- Everyday Sentiments XL stamp set
- Texture Borders stamp set
- Texture Circles stamp set
- Inkables (Alternate Circles, Paint Splats)
- Dinkables (Dots, Distressed Harlequin, Stars)
- Distress Oxides
- Distress Inks
- Dylusions Paints
- Onyx Black Versafine ink
- Glue and foam pads
- Ribbons
I created a Northern Lights background by blending Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin over a square of white card before blending some Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges and over the card, leaving some areas a bit lighter so it would look like the Northern Lights. I flicked some watered down white gesso over the background before stamping the main image using Versafine Ink. I finished by adding a stamped sentiment.
I created a background using Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide, then added some texture by blending some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide through the Circles Inkable and Distressed Harlequin Dinkable. I stamped the main image using Versafine ink, then blended some Black Soot Distress ink around the edges before matting to a piece of black card and gluing to the card blank. I finished by adding a stamped sentiment, and some detail using a white gel pen.
I cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and some white card slightly smaller again. I took the white card and stamped a few borders using Evergreen Bough Oxide, a few circles using Carved Pumpkin Oxide and then blended some Twisted Citron Oxide through the Paint Splatter Inkable. I used Versafine ink to stamp the main image in the centre then matted this on to the black card before gluing to the card blank. I finished by adding a stamped sentiment.
I cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and some white card slightly smaller again. I took the white card and created a background using Dylusions paints (Lemon Zest, Bubblegum Pink, & Calypso Teal) and the Stars & Dots Dinkables. I used Versafine ink to stamp the main image in the centre then matted this on to the black card before gluing to the card blank. I finished by adding a sentiment stamped on to Calypso Teal covered card, and some detail using a white gel pen.
I took an MDF tag and applied a coat of White Linen Dylusions paint, once dry I blended some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide through the Circles Inkable, then stamped the main image using Versafine ink before blending some Black Soot Distress ink around the edges. I then gave the MDF a light coat of Tim Holtz Distress Crackle and allowed to dry before adding my sentiment. I finished by tying a few strands of ribbon through the top of the tag.
That's it for this week bloggers, I'll be back next week to share another card with you all.
Hugs, Lorre-Anne x
