Sharon CT - Hope Card

 Sharon CT - Hope Card

Today I'd like to show you a card using several Bee Crafty stamp sets and a stencil.

I've used a smooth white cardstock for my card. Using the Mondrian 1 stencil I inked through it with Old Paper and Iced Spruce Oxide inks blending them together. I then took a black fineliner pen and drew around the edges. Don't worry if you can't get straight lines like me it all adds to the effect.

I used a Nocturne Versafine Clair ink pad to stamp out different stars from the Stars Textures stamp set. Some of the stamps have been stamped to go off the page. I also stamped more than one of the images to fit the block.

To add a bit of a different texture to the blocks I stamped some stitching using the Stitched Borders stamp.

I then added some white highlights using a Posca pen.

To add some dimension I stamped out the biggest stamp from the Stars Texture set and cut it out. I then adhered it over the flat one with 3D pads.

I white embossed some sentiments from the Ticker Tape #4 stamp set and cut them out.

To complete my card I adhered the Hope with 3D pads to the middle of the star and the sentiment to the right side block. I mounted my piece onto black cardstock and then onto my blank white card.

Ali CT - 3 Little Daisies

This week I'm sharing how I made this DL card using the fabulous Bee Crafty Doodle Art stamps which are part a special event this Thursday 29th Sept 2022.

I made a slim DL card blank by cut a piece of white 300gsm card 165mm x 210mm, scoring and folding at 82mm.
Used Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders in Golden Mint and Peacock Green to create some sparkly backgrounds. Cut 3 panels 48mm x 48mm.
Stamped the smaller daisy stem from the Dandedaisy stamp set with black versafine ink onto white stamping card 3 times. Gave them a quick blast with a heat tool to dry the ink, then fussy cut them leaving a thin white border.
Taped the wavy dinkable from Dinkables set 11 over each of the 3 panels and drew inside the shapes with a white gel pen.
Doodled curved lines within each of the leaf shapes.
Edged around the panels with black ink.
Fixed the green panels to black card matts with a border of about 1.5mm then fixed these to the white card blank using pva glue.
Stamped one of sentiments from Ticker Tape 4 onto white card with black versafine.
Snipped out the words and mounted them onto black card with a 1.5mm border.
Used pva glue to fix the daisy stems to the green panels and double sized foam pads on the sentiments.

Used gold gel pen on the flower centres and added a couple of grey pearls to the top corner.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and thank you for stopping by xxx

Alison CT - Mr Gorgeous

Hi everyone, today I thought I would share a journal page created using the new transparency faces.

Begin by blending stormy sky distress oxide across a white page in the Dina Wakely Media journal. Sprits with water and allow to dry.

Using uncharted mariner distress oxide with the diamond plate 6x6 inkable to add some detail to the top and bottom of the blue panel.

Using the thinnest stitched border and the tape measure stamps add details to the central vertical line of the page ußing uncharted mariner distress oxide.

Using the castle wall edge of one of the texture tools, blend stormy sky distress oxide from on the tool on to the page next to the tape measure stamp.

Using a spatula apply texture paste through the text part of the coffee stain text 6x6 inkable to the top right and bottlm left of the page. Allow to dry.

Using stormy sky distress oxide stamp the film strip horizontally above and below the two areas of texture paste.

Using uncharted mariner distress oxide stamp three numbers on the page.
Cut the See Me Transparency in half. Turn one puece over and very carefully glue them together, using distrsss collage medium, to create a complete face. Distress collage medium dries clear so will not be seen.

On the reverse use posca pens to colour the eyes.

Using distress collage medium around the edges of the transparency glue centrally on to the page.

Choose two of the wordy stickers and using collage medium glue them to the transparency.

Products used:
Distress Oxide - uncharted mariner and stormy sky
6x6 Inkables - diamond plate and coffee stains text
Art Stamps - numbers 1, stitched borders and texture, film strip and circles
Posca pens - white, blue and black

Thank you so much for taking a look. I hope I've given you some inspiration for using the transparencies.

Sally CT - Ridiculously Fabulous!

Hi there! I am here with a colourful journal spread for you this week. I created the background ages ago, just by blending candied apple and seedless preserves distress oxide inks around the page and through the Bakewell inkable. once this was done I added a little bit of speckled egg  distress oxide spray.

I stamped the mesh stamp from Journal art elements 3 and some coffee stains in Versafine Clair Nocturne
I stamped the numbers in Hero Arts unicorn white ink too
Setting the journal aside I stamped 5 butterflies ( I did 4 originally but then thought an odd number would be better)
I coloured them with Ecoline pens and cut them out
Next I added the butterflies to the page after stamping the antennae directly onto the page where I wanted to position them
Finally I added three of the black sentiment stickers and a few splatters of white gloss spray
Here's the finished pages...

I used:
Distress oxide ink in candied apple and seedless preserves
Distress oxide spray in speckled egg

Thanks for looking!

Ali CT - Sparkly Mandala Card

Made this small but very sparkly Mandala card for my daughter who has returned to work after finishing maternity leave this week. It's a quick card thanks to the fab Bee Crafty Inkable and Wordy stickers.

I cut a piece of black card to 4 1/2" square and taped it to my craft mat with low tack tape.
Then taped the Mandala 2 template over one corner.
I picked out some of my sparkly gel pens and started colouring though the inkable, working in the same direction each time.
It's a good idea to make a colour chart using black paper as I was surprised by the blue colour of my gel pen, it looked green on my white colour chart lol.
Not a huge amount to colour and stuck to red, gold and blue - the minimal palette looked effective.
Removed the inkable and trimmed the panel down a little.
Fixed this to a gold mirror card matt leaving a 1/16" border, onto black card with a 1/4" border with pva glue. I trimmed a 6" white card blank down to 5 1/2" square and glued the panel on to it.
Chose a sentiment from the Black Wordies sticker sheet, fixed it to a scrap of gold mirror card and glued it to the bottom right.

I hope you have enjoyed this week's project and thank you for visiting xxx

DREAMS by CT Ann

 DREAMS

By CT Ann

It’s been a while since I got messy with mixed media.. found texture paste & mdf in my stash & began creating…

Mdf Tag

Gesso

Texture Paste

Distress Oxide Sprays: Frayed Burlap/Evergreen Bough/Scattered Straw

Inkable: Mandala 3

Stamps: Birds & Butterflies/Script/Ticker Tape 2

Scribble Sticks

Posca Pen

Embossing Powder clear

Versafine Ink

Archival Ink

https://www.beecrafty.net/

Gesso an mdf tag & dry…

Mix some Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Spray with texture paste & spread through the mandala Inkable..

When dry spritz with Distress Oxide Sprays Frayed Burlap, Evergreen Bough & Scattered Straw…

I used a Tim Holtz tag to soak up the excess ink, I’ll use this another time…

Stamp butterfly in Versafine Vintage Sepia & emboss with clear powder. Die cut, add colour with Distress Oxide Inks & Scribble Sticks… die cut an extra butterfly (plain) & stamp Script across it in Vintage Sepia

On the dry tag, stamp Script freehand on to the background in Vintage Sepia..

Stamp a sentiment & cut out.

Use a white Posca pen & the Scribble Sticks to add splatters, this reactivates the inks but I like the effect …

Glue centres of the butterflies together, add some sisal behind them, glue to tag & add the sentiment…

Thank you for stopping by… Ann xxx
