https://www.beecrafty.net/

To start I spritzed each of the Distress Oxide inks onto my journal page & let them dry (or use a heat tool)…

Then using the Circle for Circles Inkable & I spritzed some Salty Ocean & Scattered Straw through & a on to the page…

When the spray inks were dry I used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean through the Texture Disc…

Next I added some Scattered Straw through one of the Inkable Tags & a bit more Salty Ocean through the same tag too (next  photo)…

Using a sponge & some white Gesso I added more stencilling, through a different Inkable tag, to break up the busy background…

I felt it needed more pink in the background & used the dotty Inkable with Kitsch Flamingo…

To break up the background a little more I added some of my homemade washi tape & used stamps from the Journal Art Elements 3 stamp set 3 (using Hero Arts Ink)

Whilst my page was drying I stamped (in Versafine Clair Nocturne) & cut out the Dancing Daisy 3 times…

When my background was dry I added lots of doodles using the Moonlight Fluorescent Gel pens…

I glued the Daisies in place & added a sentiment from the Incredible Words stamp set (on offer this week) …

Looking at the page I felt it needed a few more numbers from the Art Journal Elements 3 set adding to the background…

 Journal page completed…

Sally CT - A Hot Dandedaisy

Hi There! With the end of the month a few days away, I thought I would show you how I made this card with it's warm/hot colours (Just like the Bee Crafty Facebook Group challenge theme!).

I began by blending Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, and Mustard Seed distress ink over some smooth white card.
Next, I stamped the 'rainbows' and the circles from Journaling Essentials #1 in Versafine Clair Black ink.
I added some more Picked Raspberry ink through the dinkable over the background and set aside.
On a scrap of mixed media paper I stamped the largest Dandedaisy in black ink and cut it out.
I smooshed the flower with the purple and pink ink, then added a few spots of Mustard Seed to the centre using a paint brush
I matted and layered the background onto a 6x6 card blank, adding the flower using foam pads and a wordy sticker for a sentiment
Here is the finished card again.
I used:
Distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Mustard seed and Wilted Violet
6x6 blank card
Black paper for matting and layering
Smooth white card stock

Thanks for looking and please do enter the challenge!

Alison CT - Dancing Daisy samples

Hi, today I'm sharing my samples for last Tuesday's Doodle Art Dancing Daisy release.
For this page in my Dylusions Mini Journal I have used the Dancing Daisy and Coffee Stains stamp set, with leftover pieces of catalyst media papers, the small transparency of whatever works and an inkable texture disc from set 2.

To create this tag I used my blue Ecoline watercolour ink to create the background. I have used the Dancing Daisy, Journaling Essentials 2 and the Script Background stamp sets and I have put grit texture paste through one of the inkable texture discs from set 1. The sentiment is from the Wordy Stickers 1B.

To make this clean and simple card I have used the Dancing Daisy and Bee Mine stamp sets.

For this tag I have used Dylusions paints to create the background colour, then I have added grit texture paste through two of the texture discs (one from set 3 and the other from set 4). I have also used the arrows tag from the Inkables Tags set 1. I have used the Dancing Daisy, Crackle Background and Numbers 1 stamp sets and the sentiment is from the Wordy Stickers.

To create this card I have simply used the Dancing Daisy stamp set and one of the Inkable Tags from set 2.

To make this journal page, in my Dina Wakley blue journal, I have used the 6 inch inkables circle easy frame with the Dancing Daisy; Ledger, Inkwell and Nibs, which I stamped on Bee Crafty's stamping tissue; and Journaling Essentials 1 and 2.

For the final card I have just used stamps from the Dancing Daisy stamp set with Versafine Clair ink pads.

Thank you for popping by to take a look.

Sally CT - Dancing Daisy Samples

Hi There! I am here with the samples that I have made using the brand new Dancing Daisy Stamp set from Bee Crafty. They are being launched today over on the Bee Crafty Facebook page. I used the smaller daisy on my first card, embossing it in silver and stamping over the base card in lilac memento ink.

I blended the distress ink background for this one and added a little inking through the  Circles 1 Big one  inkable. The daisy was coloured with coloured pencils and the stamping was done with Barn Door Distress ink.

For this card I sprayed some mixed media paper with dylusions sprays. When this was dry I added some mustard seed distress oxide ink through the Circles for Circles big one inkable, then stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne and Distress oxide Lost shadow. The daisy was stamped onto white card and coloured with pencils. The sentiment is from mixed messages 2
I created two contrasting journal pages. The left page was smooshed with Lucky Clover and Twisted citron Distress oxide. The right page had an inkables mop up on it already from the big ones Bakewell
Finally, I used the circle easy frame and the horizon inkable to create the little scene, adding the larger daisy as a focal image.

I do hope you can join us for the lives.

Thanks for looking!

Alison CT - Bird Cages

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using a catalyst paper with transparencies.

To begin, trim the media paper, so that it fits the page. I used a wet paintbrush to draw lines to tear along. Next use collage medium to adhere it to a black page in the Dylusions Classics Journal.

Next use the script background stamp, with unicorn white ink, to add more detail to the background.

Still using unicorn white ink, stamp 5 numbers randomly around the page.

Then, using Versafine Clair nocturne ink, stamp some of the sketchy flowers, so that they look like they are growing up the side of both cages.

Finally cut out the transparencies and glue to the page using collage medium.

Products used:

Bee Crafty Media Papers - Catalyst Papers 3
Bee Crafty Transparency Prints A5 - Resilience Words, Sketchy Birds
Art Stamps - Script Background, Numbers 1, Sketchy Flowers 1
Versafine Clair - Nocturne

Thank you for stopping by for a look.
