Emily DT - Jewellery

Hi everyone, today I have been blogging for Bee Crafty for six months so I thought I would share a little project with you which is a bit different.

I have used my Bee Crafty stamps alongside Fimo clay to make some beautiful jewellery.

I have made three sets of jewellery this week using different stamps. Here is the first set

This is my favourite set of the three and I used the Christmas Baubles stamp. I pressed the stamp into the clay and then cut the circles out.

The second set of jewellery uses the snowflake set of stamps

This time I pressed the stamp into the clay, then once it was baked picked out the shapes with a bit of paint.

The third set of jewellery used the Splatter Swirl border stamp

This time I picked one part of the stamp and pressed it into the clay multiple times.

I also went over this one with a bit of paint just to pick out the details.

I hope you like my projects this week. I always love to show just how many different ways stamps can be used so I hope to have shared some inspiration!

Emily DT - Inspired by Bev

Hi everyone, who watched Bev on Hochanda yesterday with all those gorgeous new stamps??

I watched the shows and loved the samples so my card today is inspired by one of Bev's demo's. However, I've made it using stamps I already had in my stash.

Here is the card

I used the square inkables outer part as a mask, and used Brusho paints in the middle. I used ultramarine, lemon and lime green Brushos.

Once it was dry I used the Splatter Swirl border to make a couple of feature corners.

I stamped the Smile Wordage stamp onto a scrap of white card and mounted it onto black. This was then stuck to the topper and the whole thing was mounted on black.

I hope you like it and feel as inspired by the Hochanda show as I did! I wanted to show that stamps you already have in your stash can be used, although a fair few of the new ones will be on my shopping list!!

Marleen DT - Glad

Hey everyone..

A post today, sharing my wednesday inspiration for

Today I've used the stamp called "Glad" from the Wordage collection.
You can find it and all the other fantastic stamps, in the STORE.

This card is made using Brusho and distress inks.
I stated by making my background with brusho's and layered a stencil over and made the rays with distress ink. The heart background is also made with Brusho, then stamped and diecut. Mini hearts made the same way. I finished by adding some distress embossing powder to the egdes using roughly swiping my versamark pad over the edges.

And that is all from me for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Clare DT - Girl

Good morning all! It's been a while since I last blogged. Last week I went on a bit of a road trip to the NEC to visit our wonderful Bev at Bee Crafty and have a look at what crafty delights are available. I had an amazing time and despite saying I wasnt going to buy any more stamps a fair few fell in to my shopping basket!

This week I am sharing with you a tag that I made using the fabulous Girl senitiment.

For this tag I used:

Dylusions ink

Fashionettes - Rosie

Wordage - definition Girl

Inspired by da Vinci - script stamp

Backdrop boders - flower distressed border

Ranger stickles

I sprayed my tag with dylusions ink. When dry I stamped on the distressed flower and the script stamp. On a separate piece of card I stamped Rosie and coloured her in with my pencils. Once she was completed I cut her out and adhered her to my tag. I added a bit of shadow behind Rosie using some charcoal and a blending stump.

Onto a separate piece of card I stamped the Girl definition, which had been sprayed with the same coloured inks.

I found some paper flowers in my stash and sprayed them with the co-ordinating colours in dylusion inks. When they were dry, I stuck them onto my tag and added some stickles to look like dew drops.

Finally I added some liquid pearls to Rosies dress and the tag.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by today. Wishing you all a fabulous creative weekend.

Emily DT - Love Hill on Hessian

Hi everyone.
When I am making cards I love to try and incorporate materials other than card and hessian is a favourite of mine.
I have used it on the card I have made this week. Here it is...

I coloured some pieces of hessian when I last had my Brusho paints out and this piece was coloured with turquoise and lemon.
I stamped the Love Hill stamp using Memento black ink. I used Memento as I find it produces a 'blacker' image than my Archival ink. Stamping onto the hessian you need a good black juicy inkpad.
I did have to go over it with a black sharpie to make it really defined.

I frayed the edges of the hessian by pulling a few strands out. I just like the way it looks a bit rustic!
I wanted to keep it simple so I mounted it onto black card and then onto my card blank. I stamped a small Wordage sentiment just to finish it off.

Hope you like it

You can find her and all the other fantastic stamps, in the STORE.

My back ground has been made on water colour card stock and distress inks.
The little pink squares was made by a die (it was the leftovers from a frame die) just glued on one by one.
Vera is coloured with promarkers and cut with a circle die.
PLEASE NOTE: Vera normally come with legs lol.. I just cut them off on this card lol)
The flowers and the sentiment are from my stash.

And that is all from me for today.

DT Kerrie - Christmas Wordage 'Believe' - Bee Crafty

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

I had a couple of weeks off due to being ill and half term with my 4 Kiddies taking me away from my Desk for far too long - but today I am back to where I love to be - in my Korner creating pretties

I have really gotten into making my Christmas Cards and most of those have been non-traditional colours - I love to mix it up a bit - this time I chose soft pink, brown and rich gold

The Bee Crafty products I have used are...

And - Distress Inks 'Spun Sugar', 'Tattered Rose' and 'Victorian Velvet' (all stocked on the Bee Crafty Webshop

I chose a 7x7 White Cardblank, and added some Matt & Layering using some pearlescent cardstock from my stash, the gold piece I used an embossing folder to create a swirly background.

With a small piece of Linen Cardstock I inked through the Star Template using Distress Inks 'Spun Sugar', 'Tattered Rose' and 'Victorian Velvet' to create the an ombre effect (lighter in the middle and darkening towards the edges)

I stamped The 'Believe' accross the Star at a jaunty angle using brown ink, the 'Splatter Swirl' border around the edge of the Linen Cardstock and then stamped the 'Snowflakes' into opposite corners using the brown ink and 'Victorian Velvet' distress ink.

I ran my embossing ink over the edges of the Linen Cardstock and dipped these edges into gold embossing powder then heated with my 'Heat Gun' (available from Bee Crafty's Webshop) to melt the powder and create the smooth gold finish. I also used my Embossing Ink Pen to draw a shadow around the 'Believe' word then heat embossed this in Gold too.

I hope you like my card today. I really do like how it turned out.

Emily DT - Glad I Did It

Hi everyone, winter is definitely upon us now and I have been making lots of Christmas cards. I fancied doing something different for this blog post so I have stayed away from Christmas colours for this card.

I started off with the Inkable heart shape inner part and brushed dusty concord distress ink all the way around it. I then switched to the outer part and brushed picked raspberry distress ink all around the inside of the heart.

I went round the edge of the card with the Splatter swirl border stamp using milled lavender distress ink.

I stamped the Glad I did it stamp in the middle of the heart using purple pigment ink and added pearls all around the heart.

I mounted the topper onto purple card to finish it off.

Hope you like it!
