Lorre-Anne DT - Good Times

Hi bloggers, it's Monday which means I've got another Bee Crafty DT project to share with you all. This weeks card is really easy to make, and I thought the sentiment worked perfectly with the pocket watch.

Materials
What to do
  • Cut some black card slightly smaller than the card blank, and some white card slightly smaller again.
  • Take the white card, and using Versafine ink, stamp the pocket watch in the centre.
  • Stamp the pocket watch again onto a piece of masking sheet, carefully cut out, then peel off the backing and stick this over the pocket watch you stamped on the white card.
  • Ink up the numbers stamp with both colours of Distress Oxide and randomly stamp over the white card, then take Twisted Citron Oxide and blend some around all four edges of the card.
  • Carefully peel off the masking sheet.
  • Mat the white card to the piece of black card, then glue both to the card blank.
  • Stamp the sentiment on to a piece of white card using Versafine ink, mat on to black card and attach to the card blank with glue.
  • Finish by adding a few gems in the bottom left corner.
I'll be back next week to share another one of my DT makes with you all.

Hugs, Lorre-Anne x

Paula DT - Be Wild

Shopping List
Bee Crafty Art Stamps: Scenery Animals ~ Giraffe
BEAUtanicals ~ Silhouette Tree: Deciduous
WORDage Sets: Travel Words 1
Dinkable Regular Dots
Dylusions Paint ~ Crushed Grape
Dylusions Paint ~ Fresh Lime
Versafine ~ Onyx Black
Ranger Embossing Powder ~ Clear (Super Fine Detail)
Artboards Portrait (2 Pack) 120mmx175mm

* I took a piece of foam and started using it with the Crushed Grape paint. Working from the bottom of the Artboard to the middle. Took another piece of foam and worked with the Fresh Lime. The paints do bland well but it wasn't the look I wanted so, I dried the paint and then took a wet wipe and swiped some of the Lime paint across, as seen in the photo. I used a paint brush to paint the Fresh Lime along all the edges of the Artboard.
* I stamped the giraffe and tree branches on to the Artboard using the black ink and then covered with the clear embossing powder, I would personally use a black embossing powder to make the images stand out more but I had to use what I had available.
* I painted some of the Fresh Lime on to card, once dried I stamped the wording and used clear embossing powder again. I cut the words out and placed them to one side.
* Take the Dinkable Regular dots and swipe some Fresh Lime through using a piece of foam.
* Finally, adhere the wording.

Jane DT - Thank you Cards

Hello!

This week on the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog I am sharing some quick thank you cards that I have made ready to give out to my son's teachers at the end of the year (this is unnaturally organised for me!!).  I have chosen the colours to match the notebooks that I have made for them...

I wanted cards that would be quite quick to make but also effective so chose to create backgrounds using the distress oxide inks.  I then added some script stamping and Wildflower 1 in the matching distress colours before using Wildflower 2 and one of the Everyday Sentiments in black to really stand out.

Here are the products used:

* Beautanicals - Wildflower 1, Wildflower 2
* Backdrops - XL Script
* Wordage - Everyday Sentiments 1
* Distress Oxide Ink pads

Happy crafting,

Jane xx

Karen DT - Friendship

Morning crafters xx

I'm back on the Buzzy Goings On At Bee Crafty Blog today with a card I made using the gorgeous Scenery Animal Tiger stamp. I adore this beautiful arty image

Products also used :
Friendship stamp set
Silhouette Tree: Deciduous
Distress Oxides
Black onyx versafine
White gel pen

I used masking tape across the card blank then blended various distress oxides in a sunburst type pattern
I then removed the tape and used the same colours to finish off the background
I splattered droplets of water and dried off with heat gun
Highlights were added with a white gel pen
I stamped my trees in Smokey Grey and Black onyx versafine
The beautiful Tiger was stamped in black onyx versafine,  having first masked off the birds
I then inked the birds up from both this, and the other Scenery Animals stamps, and stamped them randomly in the sky
The Friendship stamp was also masked off before stamping in the black versafine,  to complete my card

I hope you enjoyed today's make and I'll be back next Thursday with another Bee Crafty make for you all

Marleen DT - Hexagon

Hey again bloggers..

Wednesday again and im back with another bit of inspiration for
BeeCrafty..

Todays card was made for the last BeeCrafty show on Hochanda. Bev had the safari animals on, but on the list provided (to the DT) of goodies we could use was the Easy Frames. I love those stencils.. Find the full selection in the STORE..

So for this card I used the Hexagon, outie.. I simply lay down the stencil and used distress ink through.I remeoved the stencil and then took a selection of the Dinkables, layed them over the ink and strayed with water.I mopped some of the water up with a paper towel, removed the Dinkables and sprayed a bit more water.. just to make sure the colours really smudged. Once my background was dry again, I went back in with the Dinkables, but this time used a white gel pen and drew some of the pattern through. I then took a black gel pen and hand drew around the Hexagons. I finished with my greeting, heat embossed with white embossing powder on to black card and a black mat.

And that is it for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Charlee DT - Scenery animals

Morning crafters. Hope your well. For this weeks blog I'm sharing my samples with the scenery animals that was on hochanda a couple of weeks ago.

I used the octagon easy frame with distress oxides for this one.

I did the background with a wash of sparkle pens. I scribbled the different colours I wanted to use and then took a large flatbrush with water and dragged the colour over the background until it was covered. I then used the landscape templates with hickory smoke distress ink to create the hills. I drew a half circle lightly in pencil and faux bleached it out using water to create the sun.

I blended black soot distress ink through the chevron dinkable.

This one was done with aqua pens. I put some colour down on my matt, spritzed with water and then mopped up the colour with the card.

I used pixie powders for this one.

Using the circle easy frame I blended through salty ocean distress ink.

I used dylusions ink spray's for this one. \I took the inner bit of the circle easy frame and used hickory smoke distress ink around it to create the sun. I then coloured the tiger in with a black pen to create a silhouette look.

I used the square easy frame but turned it to create a diamond shape. I blended through shaded lilac and wilted violet distress inks. I also used the chainlink and dots dinkable. Using a black pen I drew along the edges of the square to create a boarder.

For this one I used different brown distress oxides. I put them down on my matt sprayed with water and then mopped the colour up. I then scrunched the card up. Once a little dry I used ground espresso and dragged the ink pad along the crumpled edges. Once completely dry I ironed out the card as best I could on a low setting.

I used crushed olive through the label easy frame. I then took the trees inkable and using the same colour blended through that.

I cut some card into equal 3x3 inch squares. I used distress oxides to colour the background. Once I stamped my images I then triple embossed with clear embossing powder on each square. I put them in the freezer for about 5 mins and when I took them out I bent the cards to crack the embossing.

That's all from me for this week. Hope you enjoyed all my samples

Until next week

Paula DT - Time Flies

Shopping List
Bee Crafty Art Stamps ~ Steampunk Stories: Pocketwatch
WORDage ~ Time Flies
Distress Ink Pads
Versafine ~ Onyx Black

This card is actually amongst one of the first lot of samples I made for Bee Crafty. As I'm finding it hard to make anything, due to my Dad's death I thought I'd go through my back catalogue and share the ones that I've never blogged before.

For this card, I took a piece of copier paper (because its thin/flimsy and great to use as a mask or stencil) and I drew just the top half of a cloud shape along the piece of paper and cut it out. I laid this at the top of the panel and inked straight off the cloud stencil on to the panel, working the ink upwards. I kept moving the stencil down and moved it a bit to one side, to give a more random look. I then used a darker shade of blue to ink all around the edges of the panel.
I stamped the Pocket Watch 4 times on to white card that matches your card blank. I cut the centre out of one of them, trimmed it down and glued it along one of the edges of the sky panel. I then cut out the little second hand circles and adhered to the panel, as shown.
Stamped the sentiment and then layered this on to a white panel, then adhered this onto a card blank - I think my card blank might have been 6x6 in size.

Jane DT - Scenic Animals Samples

Hello!

It is my turn on the Buzzy Goings on at Bee Crafty blog today I thought I would share a few of the samples that I made for the recent shows on HOCHANDA...

For this project I used one of the MDF tags and bright coloured acrylic paints to create the base.  I then stencilled through a couple of different d'inkables and then added a bit of doodling with black and white pens.  The giraffe was stamped over the top using black ink and finally the words added direct to the tag as well.

As soon as I saw the map stamp I wanted to make a travel journal.  Two pieces of board were coated with silver paint then texture paste added through the chevron d'inkable and versamark through the circle lattice which I then heat embossed with a chunky powder.  The map was stamped and embossed with gold to be added to the front of the journal along with the words.

For this shaker card I wanted a black and white theme so after cutting my frame I worked out where I needed my zebra to be before stamping it in black ink.  The glitter and micro beads were added to the middle and then the frame and acetate stuck onto the front with foam tape.  The word was stamped and then cut into a banner shape before adding some distress ink around the edges.

Here are the links to the items used...

Marleen DT - Scenery Animals, Hochanda samples

Hello fellow bloggers..

Did you catch Bev on the tellybox this monday?? She brought some brand new stamps to Hochanda.. And they are AMAZING.. Another series to my favorite list lol.. Anyway.. they are called scenery animals and you can find them HERE in the STORE with all the other amazing goodies..

Here are the samples I made for the show:

This one is made with distress oxide ink and just plain black stamping. I used the sun dinkable to add a bit of debth up in the corner.

This one is muddled distress ink, stamping woth distress ink and gold embossing powder..

I love using smaller stamps to make backgrounds and thats how I made this background. My Zebra is stamped on top of a watercolour background.

For this one I cut a circle shaped card and stamped the world map with greens and brown distress ink. I then just stamped my animals over. I used a dinkable to add a bit if dimention.

This one was me just having a play and liking the outcome.. The background has been made using some old spray inks, then using the inny of the circle easy frame I swiped my versamark pad around it and added gold embossing powder. Using the outie easyframe I then finished by stamping my animals.

Last but no means least, an MDF tag smothered with Lustre Luxe and stamped with gold embossing powder..
And that is it for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Lorre-Anne DT - Hochanda samples Scenery Animals

Hi everyone, I'm back with my weekly blog post for Bee Crafty, and this week I'm sharing the samples I have made for Bev's shows on Hochanda today.  How awesome are these new stamps!!!  I had so much fun making my samples with them, and still have so many ideas that I want to try out.

Materials

Background created using Distress Oxides (Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade), Dinkables (Dots, Cracked Glass) and words from World Map stamp set.  Giraffe stamped using Versafine ink then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Background created using World Map stamp set and Forest Moss Distress Oxide.  Animals stamped using Versafine ink, and coloured using Kuretake Zig pens.

Background created by dragging Broken China & Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide pads directly across the card, then spritzing with water and using a wet baby wipe to blend the ink across the card.  Tree and Giraffe stamped using Versafine ink.

Stamped Zebra using Versafine ink, then added a little colour using Kuretake Zig pens.  Finished by adding a stamped sentiment.

Background created using Distress Oxides (Lucky Clover, Faded Jeans, Fossilized Amber).  Zebra stamped using Versafine ink then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Background created using Brushos (Ost.Blue, Ultramarine, Lemon), then the World Map was stamped using Versafine ink.

Background created using Orange Brushos, then blending some Distress Oxides (Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade) and Black Soot Distress Ink through the Dinkables (Stars, Distressed Harlequin, Sunset).  Stamped the tiger using Versafine ink, and added a stamped sentiment.

That's it for this week, see you all next Monday!
