Charlee DT - New oxides and Flower riot stamp

Morning crafters, it's been an exciting week for us new design team members. We got our first stamps to do sample for, which I can't wait for you all to see. For this weeks blog I'm going to use the flower riot stamp seeing as it was on offer last week and many of you ( me included ) snapped the barging up.

What you'll need:

Step 1:

Cut down some white card to 7x7. With your mini blending tool, blend twisted citron, peacock feathers, salty ocean and cracked pistachio oxides ( if you don't have the oxides you can still use the normal distress inks) in random places until all the card is covered. Then spritz some droplets of water all over and blot dry with a paper towel.

Step 2:

Take the distressed diamonds inkable and blend broken china oxide through the stencil all over the card.

Step 3:

Ink up the live laugh dream stamp in the mermaid lagoon distress ink and stamp all over the background. I stamped at a slight angle. Next Ink up the flower riot stamp in versafine ( or whichever black ink you prefer) and stamp in the centre of the card. I used my stamping platform so I could stamp twice to get a darker image. Then ink up the splatter swirl boarder stamp and stamp all round the edge of the card.

Step 4:

Cut some card slightly bigger than 7x7 card you've just done and go round the edges with the sparkle pen. Then adhere it all together and onto the 8x8 card blank.

And that's all there is to it. Hope you found it easy enough to follow and hope it inspires you to have ago. Please post pictures onto the bee crafty stamps group on facebook. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Until next week
