Do you know what.....I've sat here for 5 minutes thinking 'How do I start this first blog post?' -
I could begin with the fact, that I'm one of four new people who have been given the wonderful opportunity of being part of the Bee Crafty Design Team...the design team are a hard act to follow and I do hope I can keep up with their high standards.
So, my first post consists of showing 3 cards, they are the same but slightly different. Different in the fact I like to play around with positioning. I've used the Art Stamps: Moon , Backdrop Frames: Splatter Swirl Upright Rectangle , Backdrops: Splat 2 and the BEAUtanicals: Wildflower 2 .

- To begin with, I stamped the Splatter Swirl Upright Rectangle directly on to a white card blank.
- I then took some cheap copier paper and masked around the rectangle frame leaving the inside clear for me to stamp with in.
- I stamped the moon in a grey ink within the rectangle. Then I inked the stamp again and stamped on to a piece of copier paper, cut out and used this as a mask.
- I took some blue ink on to a piece of foam and within the rectangle I inked the top half. I then took some purple and inked the bottom half and blended where they met in the middle.
- Pick some water up on a paint brush then flick it over the inked area. Dab off again with a bit of paper towel. Continue to do this until you are happy with the look. I did it about 3 or 4 times.
- Take some white paint, ink or some watered down white gesso on to a paint brush and gentle flick over the inked area. Do this till you are happy with the look.
- Remove the moon mask.
- Ink the wildflowers stamp and stamp with in the inked area, as shown.
- Remove the mask around the rectangle but replace it within the outer edge of the frame and add the edges of the splatter along part of the edges. Remove mask completely.
- To finish, add a suitable sentiment.
Stunning cards. X
