Morning crafters. Today's blog I'll be sharing my samples for today's shows. Make sure you tune into Hochanda at 12pm and 4pm to see the beautiful Sam demoing these amazing new stamps.
For this one I stamped the word in broken china and lucky clover oxides. I used my stamping platform so I could restamp to get a good amount of ink down. Then I sprayed some water over the word and let it run before blotting and drying it off. Then I mixed some Ocean Blue and Sea Green lustre luxe with water, then I flicked it with my paint brush.
I tore some paper to use as a mask. I then blended different shades of green distress inks. I used the chainlink and splatter dinkable.
The background for this on was done with aquapens scribbled onto my blending matt and spritzed with water. Then placing the card down and swirling it round. Also spritzing some water droplets.
I used distress inks to make a sunset type background. Using Skyline 3 with different shades of black. I then heat embossed one of the circles to use as a moon and then heat embossed the word.
This one was also done with aquapens in the background. I also used the aquapens to stamp with, by scribbling them directly onto the stamps.
This is probably one of my favourites. I used masking tape that you can pick up cheaply. I took as much tack of the back as I could and placed them 1inches apart. I then used cracked pistachio and worn lipstick oxides. I stamped the boards in peeled paint and picked raspberry oxides.
For this one I used distress inks. I inked up the stamp one colour at a time using my stamp platform. I made sure I overlapped the colours a little bit to get more of a blend.
I used pebeo sand paste through the cracked glass dinkable. I then blended picked raspberry oxides over. Then on the cracked glass I went over with a silver guilding mousse.
I hope you enjoy these samples and it gives you lot's of inspiration when you get your stamps home.
Make sure you get in quick so you don't miss out. Especially with the new dinkables and inkables which are stunning !
Until next week
