Hi everyone,

I have made a super quick, easy card this week, which would work as an alternative Valentine's Day card.

I waned to make a card using lots of layers of colour, without adding layers of card and paper.

Here is the card I have made...

I started by adding some stripes of colour using Distress crayons. I only have one set of these so far but I love the effect they give.

I then added layers of stamping in lots of colours of Distress ink. I used the set of two star stamps, the smallest style wire circle, and the distressed frame.

I added my sentiment in black, but I also stamped the word 'Rock' in lots of other colours too.

I mounted it on black card and then onto my card blank.

I am really pleased with how this card turned out and it was so quick to make. This type of card could be made using other sentiments for lots of occasions.
