Caz DT - ladybird tag

PRODUCTS USED:

Bee crafty doodle art ladybird stamp set
Bee Crafty doodle art butterfly stamp set
Ticker tape 2 sentiments
Brick wall D'inkable
Distress ink tea dye
Clear embossing powder
White gesso
Archival ink black
Grit paste

HOW TO MAKE:
Firstly I coated my tag in white gesso using a sponge...

Then I swiped the tea dye ink pad vertically down the gessoed surface to create a sort of wooden distress appearance...

Then sprinkled over clear embossing powder and heated it...

Using a border stamp from the doodle art butterfly stamps I added some elements staggered from the bottom of the tag... They don't stamp evenly due to the textured surface, but it adds to the look I wanted...

Then I used grit paste through the brick wall D'inkable to give more interest and texture to the background...

Stamped, coloured and fussy cut the lady birds and sentiment...

Also same with the leaf stamp from the doodle art butterfly set, coloured and cut out. I also backed the ticker tape onto black to make it pop more.
I glued the elements onto my tag.

That's it 🙂

Thanks for looking

Hope you like.
