New Page, New Year by DT Ann

Happy New Year to you all!!

In these trying & difficult times it’s good to find distraction, comfort & joy in our crafting. Journaling is a good way not only to plan but to write feelings, hopes & dreams down. Be grateful for the little things & look for the good, try something new, you never know where it will take you...

I hope 2021 is kind to you all Ann xxx

♥️

To create this page I used;

-Botanical Sprigs A6

-Months, Days & Dates #1

Journaling Templates-BuJo #1

Numbers #1

Tags & Banners Die

Distress Oxides: Victorian Velvet, Frayed Burlap

Versafine Clair: Fallen Leaves

Gelly Roll Pens • Sakura Pigma Micron Pens

Ecoline Pens

Journal

Place the stencil on the bottom half of your page, fix with washi or stencil tape & ink through with Victorian Velvet.

Use a brown fine liner pen to create faux stitching around each square, leave to dry.

Die cut 4 small tags & blend Victorian Velvet ink onto each one. Stamp the numbers 2•0•2•1 in Versafine Clair, onto each tag & add faux stitching again.

Create a floral “display” starting with a dark ink( fallen leaves) this gives some structure & add lighter colours to fill in .. you can always add more dark later.

Add a month or date or leave the boxes blank to fill..

Use your pens and/or pencils to fill in the leaves, add dots..

Glue the tags onto your page...

Thanks for stopping by... Ann xx
