Jumped on the bandwagon with tag inspiration this week this time using the Doodle Art range.. don’t know why I didn’t have these before, think they were released before I joined the DT!! 

I just wanted to use one word, HOPE, such a little word with so much riding on it …

Distress Oxide Inks: Faded Jeans & Broken China

Versafine Clair Twilight ( navy)

Smoosh some Faded Jeans onto a glass mat spritz with a little water & place an acetate sheet over & pick up some ink. Place onto tag, repeat & alternate with Broken China… remember to wipe the sheet in between (or use in your journal). Leave to dry… 

Next stamp the flower, twice & a couple of leaves, from the Butterfly set & emboss with clear powder… 

Colour the flowers with Ecoline Brush Pens, I used pinks for contrast. To achieve similar to the pic… start with a light shade, scribble some of the ink onto a glass mat or stamp block. Add a little water using a brush, paint on colour, then add a brighter pink & then red, concentrate the dark red on the inner part of the petal. By 

Scribble colour (661) add a little water to the leaves & paint, leave to dry… 

Stamp a border, in Versafine Clair Twilight,  using one of the smaller stamps from the Butterfly set. Using the little star from the same set & the two Distress Oxides, stamp randomly onto your background… 

Glue the flowers & leaves onto your tag… 

Create a small tag & stamp the word HOPE onto it, in Twilight, add a mini bow… 

Add enamel dots & a bow ..
