Ladybirds Trio by DT Ann

 Ladybirds Trio

By Ann

Happy New Year to you all… not been my craft room for a few weeks for one reason or another… Thought I’d to look through my journals, inspired by a previous page in my journal, I decided to use similar colours on the opposite page...

Stamps:Doodle Art Ladybird (R) & Small

Words

Fern Flourish Big One

Journal : Dina Wakley 6x6

Ecoline Brush Pens  337 & 318

Dina Wakley collage paper

Paint .. Dylusions

Posca Pens

Sakura Gelly Roll Pens

Glossy Accents

Using the rule of 3, add coral, emerald green & black paint “patches” onto your page. I had to mix some colours to get something similar to the opposite page…

When dry stencil some white gesso & coral paint, through the Fern Flourish …

Stamped three Ladybirds onto card in Hero Arts Intense Black ink & colour them using Ecoline Brush Pens, blending with a little water…

Stamped three more Ladybirds onto collage paper with the Hero Arts ink, tear out & glue them using collage gel, into journal..

Glue the coloured ladybirds on top of the collage paper ones (because they have lots of fiddly legs to cut out this makes it easier than fussing cutting everything out).

Chosing a sentiment, stamp, mat & layer on to black card & add to page..

Add some dots & doodles with Posca & Sakura Gelly & finally added some Glossy Accents...

Thank you for stopping by… Ann xxx
