Alison CT - Houses

Hello, I thought I would share how I made this double page spread in my dylusions journal today.

Begin by painting the background using Dylusions paints. Knock back some of the colour by applying white gesso with your finger.

Using the numbers inkable tag, with black soot distress ink, add three areas to your page.

Add more detail to the background using the arrow inkable tag.

Add more detail to the background using the circle dinkable with twisted citron and the  star dinkable with squeezed lemonade ink.

Use several of the stamps from the journal art elements set with spiced marmalade and twisted citron distress oxide ink to add more depth to the background.

Ink the edges of the page with black soot ink, bringing some areas into the pages. Leave to dry completely.

Stamp out two houses, several of their associated trees and lots of clouds. Colour the houses in bright colours using Ecoline pens and then cut out. Colour the trees and clouds and cut out.

Using one of the circle stamps from the journal art elements 2 and the tree from the rainbow view house stamp sets create giant flowers and leaves that will be behind the houses. Colour with ecoline pens and doodle the stems with a black pen.

Glue the houses, trees and clouds to your pages. Stamp your chosen sentiment and cut out and glue to your page.
