New Home seemed appropriate this week as my craft room is on the move… so it had to be a quick make this week! I’m downsizing … having tried many different crafts over the past 8 years & the clutter has to go!!!

Paints: Dina Wakley  / Dylusions Shimmer

Tag Inkable: set 1 & 2

Dots D’Inkable set 2

Doodle Houses Stamp & Die : Birdhouse Regular 

Typewriter Alpha Stamps

Distress Texture Paste Crackle

Gelly Roll Pens 

Distress Oxide Inks: Tumbled Glass & Squeezed Lemonade 

Versafine Clair Nocturne 

Black Gesso

Randomly paint a bright fuchsia colour over a tag.. 

.. and drag the colour with your finger or a slightly damp cloth, dry … 

Add some yellow paint through one of the Tag Inkables (set  ) & dry … 

With an old brush (mine was quite stiff & scratchy) drag some turquoise paint across your tag … 

Dry, then add some Ranger Distress Crackle Paste through the arrow Tag Inkable… 

While that starts to crackle stamp & die cut the Birdhouse (Doodle Houses) & colour. I used Distress Oxides, Gelly Roll & Posca Pens using the colours from the background as inspiration… 

NOTE: Once the Distress Crackle Paste starts to crack you can heat to speed up the process ( I’m not sure about other makes of crackle paste, please check before heating) 

Line up the Tag Inkable over the yellow & add some Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Ink to give a little more definition… 

Using some Dylusions Shimmer Paint in black, stencil some dots through a D’Inkable… 

Glue the House to the tag, add some black & white doodles with Gelly Roll pens & some stars to the background. 

Stamp the words NEW HOME onto a separate piece of paper, using the Alpha set @ Versafine Clair Nocturne .. 

Glue to your tag & add some ribbon or twine ..
