Such a fantastic day last week… must admit I did wonder how I was going to create with just Inkables as the main focus, but once I started I couldn’t stop!! Will definitely be using them more…
Another first this week for me, starting a new journal.. it’s the Dylusions Creative, black , here goes …
Dylusions Crative Journal, black pages
Dylusions Paints: Pure Sunshine, Lemon Zest, Calypso Teal & Bubblegum Pink
Gesso white & black
Inkables: Texture Discs set 2/
Tags set 2 / Dinkables set 2,7,8
Stamps: Doodle Art stamps Butterfly/ Typewriter Alpha
Start by painting white Gesso over the page, leaving the edges alone…
Add some Bubblegum Pink to your page…
Add the other colours…
Using a sponge or stencil brush add some Calypso Teal through the letters Tag Inkable…
Using the Distressed Diamonds & some Lemon Zest across the page…
Using black Gesso through the scales Dinkable around the edges …
Through the ‘tyre’ texture disc add more black onto the centre of the page…
To break up the page a little more add some white Gesso through another Dinkable…
Whilst the page dries stamp the Doodle Art butterfly x3, with Versafine Clair Nocturne, emboss with clear powder.
Colour with Ecoline Pens…
Stamp the word FLY onto a piece of white card…
Add this & your cut out butterflies to the page.
Add some doodles of your own …
