Alison CT - Embrace the white space

Hi everyone today I'm sharing a journal page where I've embraced the white space.

Using the inkable tag from set 2 and distress texture paste add raised areas to the page. Leave to dry.
Using the perspective dots inkable with vintage photo distress oxide, add detail to the background. Add the brown ink lightly across the page, colouring the texture paste as well.
Stamp the faces stamp onto collage paper using Versafine Clair nocturne ink.
Use a wet paintbrush to drawn a rough outline around the image, then gently tear along the waterline.

Glue to the page using collage medium. Encourage it to take on the shape of any texture paste it covers.
Colour the eyes and lips with gelly roll glaze pens. Using a blending tool, blend kitsch flamingo distress oxide ink under the eye and over some of the texture paste.

Now blend salty ocean distress oxide under the lips and up the side of the nose. Add more kitsch flamingo by the nose. Allow the two colours to meet and mix, creating a purple area.

Using one of the circles from the texture, film strip and circles stamp set add three circles around the face using black ink.

Using Versafine Clair nocturne stamp two butterflies, two circles, two flowers and the rickrack border (curve this on the stamp block, so its not a staight line). Colour with the distrsss oxide inks, by smooshing on an acrylic block and using a waterbrush to paint it onto the images. Cut them out.

Using the small areas of the honeycomb inkable and vintage photo ink add another layer to the background. Add more dots using the perspective circles inkable. Glue the fliwers, circles rickrack and butterflies to the page.

Stamp a sentiment, cut out and ink the edges with salty ocean distress oxide. Glue to the page.
