Ali CT - Be the Sunshine

Crafting in my comfort zone today, vibrant rainbow dylusions acrylics,  beautiful vellum flowers and one of Sam's awesome phrases from the latest Bee Crafty media papers. Love how this one turned out, hope you like it too ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’œ

Cut a piece of white 300gsm card 5" x 8".
Paint stripes of colour with a damp brush, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple using a wide flat brush, 3/4" works well. Blend the colours into each other and clean the brush before starting a new colour. Dry with a heat gun or leave to dry naturally.
Spray the back of the Bee Crafty Jungle Leaves Big One with stencil adhesive, leave for a few minutes to become tacky then place over the coloured panel. Press over the card to get a good adhesion (this should stop any excess paint running under the stencil.
Pick up a small amount of Black Marble paint on a foam applicator, it needs to be almost dry, pat off the excess paint onto a craft mat.
Go over the panel using a pouncing motion, reapply the paint when needed.
Use a stencil brush to pick up the excess paint from the inkable and cover the bits that were missed by the foam.
Carefully peel the inkable away from your panel, this stencil has lots of little leaf sections which may need a little help, then put the inkable into warm soapy water.
Dry your panel with a heat gun and remove any sticky residue with an glue eraser.
Apply black ink around the edges of the coloured panel, then fix it onto black card with a 1/8" border at the sides, lengthways. Attach to a white A5 card blank. Trim off any excess.
Wipe an anti static pad over a sheet of vellum. Stamp the largest mandala from Mandalas # 1 in white pigment ink 4 times, then heat emboss with white embossing powder.
Cut out the floral centres using scissors.
Also snip out one of the brilliant phrases in the Media Papers Faces #1 set.
Use a very small amount of collage medium on the back of the sentiment to stick it down (so the paper stays pretty opaque). Use a dot of pva glue behind the white embossing to fix the vellum flowers.
Add a few highlights to the foliage using a white gel pen and
a gemstone to the centre of each flower.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and thank you for stopping by
