Just received my order from the Bee Crafty Doodle Art Event and it included the fabulous new Big Inkable called Into the Woods - I do like making tree cards so this week's card has got to be one of those 😏
I cut a piece of white 300gsm card 11cm x 16cm - fits an A5 card.
Picked some autumnal distress oxide colours - Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Dusty Concord and Vintage Photo.

Pressed some of the yellow and orange inks onto a blending mat and spritzed with water.
Dabbed my card into the ink to pick up the colour and dried it with a heat gun. Picked up another layer of yellow and orange ink and dried it again.
Repeated with Vintage Photo oxide ink
And again with a bit of Dusty Concord, drying the card after each application.

Next I swiped Black Soot distress oxide over the Into the Woods Big One.
Spritzed the inky stencil with water - it needs a good spritz rather than a misting.
Then placed the wet stencil, ink down onto the coloured panel, covered it with a kitchen towel and pressed down.

Carefully removed the stencil to find that I hadn't spritzed enough water onto the inkable.
Lots of ink left on the stencil so I picked it up with a damp paintbrush and filled in the gaps, added a little Vintage Photo distress ink to the branches.
Dried the panel and then edged around the card, first with Vintage Photo distress ink and then black ink.
Next I stamped the Doodle Art Butterfly using black Versafine Clair ink then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Coloured with watercolour pens and fussy cut with scissors.
Used a gold glitter gel pen to outline the branches and add sparkle to the butterfly.
Mounted the panel onto black card with a border of approx 6mm (1/4") and onto a white A5 card blank.
Picked a couple of the Bee Crafty Autumn stickers and fixed them to the bottom left, used 3d glue gel to fix the butterfly with wings slightly raised.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and thank you for stopping by xxx
