Future Plans, Journal Page by CT ann

 Future Plans

Journal Page by CT Ann

Flicking through my journal I decided to create on the other side, tbe left hand side that I always leave ‘til last. Well unless it’s a double page spread that is!

Keeping to similar colours, both pages have a different feel to them, they don’t match but coordinate, I hope you think so too.

I used my 8 x 8 Dina Wakley Journal

Blend some Salvaged Patina & Mustard Seed across the page, one underneath the other (see pics) …

Use the Skyline inner stencil & blend some more Salvaged Patina upwards, away from the roof tops, to give a faint outline…

Spritz the Cotswold Inkable with water & place under the skyline… wait for the water to activate the ink, remove Inkable, press a paper towel over to soak excess water/in …

Place Flower Palm onto page, use Mowed Lawn & Fossilised Amber Oxide ink ..

Add some Salvaged Patina through the Perspective Circles Inkable, to the top of your page & Mustard Seed through the same Inkable at the bottom…

Stamp The Bird House twice, in Versafine Clair Nocturne & heat emboss with clear embossing powder, then colour with Distress Oxide inks & Gelly Roll Pens..

On a separate piece of paper blend some Oxides ( Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade, Salvaged Patina & Kitsch Flamingo) through the triangular D’Inkable…

Cut out a few triangles & the rest into strips…

Add a few waves with the texture disc & Salty Ocean ink… Glue houses to page, add some triangles as if it were bunting… I added a little washi tape around the houses ( later pics)

Add some Kitsch Flamingo clouds…

Use the strips as if it were washi tape & glue to page…

Stamp & cut out your choice of sentiment, glue to page…

Finally add some hi lights with Gelly Roll Pens…

Thank you for stopping by… Ann xxx
