To begin, I use a 005 black micron pen to draw through the leaf d'inkable (from set 6) on to Ecoline watercolour card. I repeated this on another piece of the same card.
Next, using the same micron pen, I drew freehand around the leaf shape twice, to give it a sketchy look. I added dots and cross hatches to add more detail.
Next, I cut them out, leaving a small white border.
Next spritz lightly with water, then carefully place the card cut out leaves on to it and press lightly. Remove and put the second one on to the remaining ink. Set aside to dry and clean the dinkable.
To create the background I used the dropper in the Ecoline watercolour inks to a piece of card, which I thenspritzed lightly with water. I did each colour seperately and heat dried between.
Next I stamped the grid (from the Journal Art Elements 3 stamp set) using lumberjack plaid distress ink. I also stamped the numbers using the same ink.
I then stamped the group of small circles and the single plain circle from Journal Art Elements 2 using versafine clair nocturne ink.
To finish the background I used an alcohol marker to edge the piece.
Next I glued the background piece to a card blank and added the leaves. On a separate piece of white card I stamped the dream word from the creativity words using nocturne ink. I then gently tore this out, then glued it across the stem of the lower leaf.
