Circle Time

Some inspiration for a quick card, the challenge set by Sally in the @beecraftystamps Facebook group. 

I used: 

Stamps: Mandala  #1 & Small Words

Inkables: Easy Frames Circle 4” & Regular Dots

Distress Oxide Inks: Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina & Uncharted Mariner

Distress Archival Ink :Mermaid Lagoon (Kit 2)

Sakura Moonlight Pens

Card cut to 14cm x 14cm

Coordinating card to mat 

8 x 8 card blank

I started off centre on a 14cm x 14cm piece of card. Placed the 4” circle Easy Frame down & blended Cracked Pistachio Oxide Ink onto the card & did two more circles just off the card… 

Then used Salvaged Patina Oxide Ink through the circle frame, overlapping the previous circles… 

For the third set of circles I used Uncharted Mariner…

 Next I used Uncharted Mariner Oxide ink again, this time through the Regular Dots Inkable… 

Added more dots with the other two inks … 

I chose the ‘bubble’ stamp from Mandala #1 stamp set, inked it with Cracked Pistachio & stamped onto the card… 

I repeated this with Uncharted Mariner…  

I die cut a circle (approximately 5cm diameter), blended ink over it all with Uncharted Mariner… then I stamped the bubble with Versafine Clair Twilight (dark blue ink). When dry I added some dots & hearts with Posca & Moonlight pens… 

I chose a sentiment from the Small Words stamp set, stamped it in Mermaid Lagoon Distress Archival ink & mat this onto a teal blue piece of card… 

I added a few dots around the circles & edges & to finish mat & layered on to coloured card & an 8x8 card blank…
