Alison CT - Using up small scraps of catalyst paper

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing an art journal page created using up all the small off cuts of catalyst papers to create a background. As you can see in the photo I have quite a lot of small bits left over from previous projects.

Using distress collage medium add the small pieces of catalyst paper so that they cover the page then leave to dry naturally.
Using a dry brush add white gesso to the central area of the page.
Use the script background stamp with versafine clair hawthorne rose ink to add to the background.
Apply seedless preserve distress oxide directly to the oval lace six inch inkable by rubbing the ink pad directly on to it. Sprits lightly with water and press it onto areas of the page.
Using the border super skinny thin acrylic block stamp the scribbled border, from the dancing daisy stamp set, using versafine clair nocturne ink about 5mm in from the edge of the page.
Using the printed acetate from the dancing daisy stamp set as a guide stamp three coffee stains and three of the numbers from the coffee stains stamp set.
Stamp the dancing daisy image onto a separate piece of card using versafine clair nocturne. Watercolour using rustic wilderness, twisted citron, mustard seed, seedless preserve and picked raspberry distress oxide ink. Then cut it out.
Glue the daisy to the page so that it touches parts of the coffee stains and numbers.
Finally add the sentiment from the walk your own way transparency prints using collage medium.
Products used:
White gesso
Distress oxide ink pads - rustic wilderness, seedless preserve, picked raspberry, twisted citron, mustard seed
Versafine clair - hawthorne rose, nocturne

Thank you for taking a look.
Alison
