Hi , this week I have a journal page for my step by step guide using one of the stunning portraits from the catalyst collage papers Rainbow Thoughts .
My first step was to choose my paper and tear roughly around the image .
This was then glued on to my page slightly off centre and after covering the main image (to protect it )I used two Distress spritz sprays randomly to colour my background. I used Worn lipstick and Fossilised Amber .
Next I took two D’inkables from set 11 and using the same colour Distress inks as my sprays, I added some areas of stenciling
After using Blue Print sketch distress inks around the edges of my page , I used some of the stamps from Journaling Essentials #9 and the same ink colours to add more interest to my page .
Next taking my Posca pens I gave my page a white stitched border and doodled some pink hearts . At this stage I also added some white highs to the girls hair and face .
Next I stamped out the large and small Doodle Art Cone Flower , colouring them with similar coloured Ecoline water colour pens
My page was finished by adding the flowers and a sentiment from the A5 Beautiful and Brave transparencies.
