Alison CT - Pastel Inspiration

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a guide to creating this pastel shades card. I've got to admit that this has been a really hard challenge from Sally, it's so easy to go beyond pastel shades by adding too much colour. Even now I feel the flower may be to strong to be pastel, but I did use pastel pencils (as in the medium pastels) to colour it.
To begin I blended tumbled glass, spun sugar and squeezed lemonade distress oxide through the Eclipse Trellis big one. I used a piece of super smooth card that was 6.5 x 4.5 inches.
I then put the crackle background stamp on to a suitable skinny slim. I lightly inked it with morning mist versafine clair ink and stamped it centrally on the background.
Next I blended tumbled glass distress oxide around the edge of the piece.

On seperate card, I stamped the dandedaisy. I then coloured it with Derwent pastel pencils and cut it out.

Then I mounted the background on to a piece of pastel blue card, then on to a 5 x 7 card blank.
I then glued the dandedaisy in position.
Finally I stamped the word strong, from the incredible words stamp set, cut it out and edged with black pen before gluing it to the card.
Products used:
Distress Oxide - tumbled glass, squeezed lemonade, spun sugar
Versafine Clair - nocturne, morning mist

Thank you for taking a look.
