Today is Sam's birthday I won't tell you how old she can blog on Wednesday and she wants to tell you she can :)
So I was thinking lets have a sing song but first a little bit of trivia:
"Happy Birthday to You" is a song which is sung to celebrate the anniversary of a person's birth. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, "Happy Birthday to You" is the most popular song in the English language, followed by "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" and "Auld Lang Syne." The song has been translated into many languages, though it is often sung with the English lyrics even in countries where English is not a primary language.
The melody of "Happy Birthday to You" was written by American sisters Patty Hill and Mildred J. Hill in 1893 when they were school teachers in Louisville, Kentucky. The verse was originally intended as a classroom greeting entitled "Good Morning to All". The version as we know it was copyrighted in 1935 by the Summy Company as an arrangement by Preston Ware Orem, and is scheduled to expire in 2030. This was the first known written version to include the lyrics. The company holding the copyright was purchased by Warner Chappell in 1990 for $15 million, with the value of "Happy Birthday" estimated at $5 million.[1] While the current copyright status of the song is unclear, Warner claims that unauthorized public performances of the song are technically illegal unless royalties are paid to them. It is unknown, but speculated upon who wrote the lyrics to "Happy Birthday to You
Okay now everyone together
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to Sam
Happy Birthday to you
Beautiful singing voices, now I would like some Birthday cards to put in the gallery so if you just e-mail them to me at shop@beecrafty.net. I will get them up
See you later folks (pub tea tonight mmmmmmmmmmm)

Sunday Morning........................
Well I'm up at least, it was a good night. We all went to Laura's ( our fabby Saturday assistant) wedding party and have a great time so you'll understand why the curtains are still drawn and the radio is on quiet........................sssssssssssssshhhhhhhhh don't laugh that loud please.
I must say she looked absolutely stunning in ivory brocade, as did the bridesmaids and groom, looked exceedingly handsome.
Well it was a busy ole day in the shop yesterday and we had some lovely visitors in from north of the border. Bless, he said that he thought they'd stopped of at every craft shop between East Kilbride and us on route. What a great hubby. In fact we have folk in from far and wide yesterday so "thank you " to you all, we are really grateful for you taking the time to seek us out and also to all of you making those return trips again thanks, it's a good feeling to know that you put us so highly on you shopping venue list.
Sam has been playing with some of the new Christmas embossing templates so I'll post pictures as soon as they are turned into cards. Well I'm off to Bev's for dinner so take care and speak to you soon.

TIS I :)
Hello, 'tis me again.
Well it's been 24hours since my return from a week-end in Holland and what a fabby time Dh and I had. Not only did we manage to go to the suppliers and buy lots of new goodies but we managed a couple of days to ourselves just mouching around doing touristy type things.
Here's a couple of picture's of the barges on the Waal Canal that is at the bottom of the road to where we go. Can you see the beaches on the other side, the canals have these all along them, it's just beautiful. also we've brought back some fabby new workshop ideas so watch out for these being posted in the workshop section of the website.
and just for the hell of it here's a couple of picture's I took as we drove along the coast below Calais.
How lovely is that - and those guy's didn't catch anything the whole time we were there either and another fool went swimming.......
well the sun's come out so I'm of to do some gardening, yes I'm having another day off, how cool is that. It's all thanks to my lovely girls and now that Sam is on board it should happen a bit more often, so take care and speak to you soon.

When did she do that???
I was convinced I watched her like a hawk!! I have to she's probably off ordering stuff now whilst I talk to you. ah well new month so I'll let her away with it.
The VAT finally got finished but I don't know why it was a real slog this time just seemed never ending and every time I though I was finished a new pile of receipts would just pop up out of nowhere and all my figures would have to be done.
To anyone local, did you see my ugly mug in the Cotswold and Vale, double chins galore, I must be one of the very most unphotogenic people on the planet, don't get me wrong very very very very occasionally there is a photo of me I don't thing urrrrrrggghhhhh but in general, yup that's what I think. I was very chuffed with my article though, don't get me wrong rereading there is probably a few grammatical oopsies that I would take care of but none as big as crapbooking, which their person wrote last year I could of screamed my head off, PLUS it makes us all see how important one letter is:)
Anywho(sorry I get the feeling I'm rambling)is everyone back to regularity i.e. schools going back or are we all still recovering from the summer holidays? Well my gorgeous little nephew had his very first day at school yesterday, it was sooooo exciting PLUS it was his birthday too, so we had a Scooby Doo Party which was lots of fun, with a Mystery Machine Cake, that the boss had made for him by a lady that comes in the shop which was not only funky but absolutely delicious, chocolate yummy yum yum.
Right I'm gonna get and get back to it, if I don't get back before it's me and Sam this weekend so come by and say hello
