Alison CT - Samples for the new Doodle Art Flowers

Hi everyone,  today I'm sharing four of my samples for the new Doodle Art Flowers stamp release. I've really enjoyed playing with the four new flowers.

For my first sample, I have created a tag by blending tumbled glass and wilted violet distress oxide over the blank tag. I then blended salty ocean distress oxide through the Moroccan tile inkables tags from set 1.  Using the dots dinkable from set 2 I added villianous potion distress oxide to it, then spritzed with water and pressed it on to the tag. I added some of the crosses from the new tulip stamp using Versafine Clair nocturne.  I stamped the tulip on to separate card and coloured it with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Granulating watercolour paints. I, then cut it out and added it to the tag. I tucked two letters and one number, from the Alpha Numbers Transparency Prints, under the flower.

For this simple card I blended twisted citron distress oxide over the edge of the 4" circle easy frame mask. I then blended squeezed lemonade distress oxide through the 6" Perspective Circles inkables. I stamped the large Doodle Art Lillius on to separate card and coloured with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Granulating watercolour paints.  After cutting it out I glued it to the card. I added the corner stamp and sentiment from the same stamp set.

For this art journal page I created a background by using Pearl May Green, Pearl Lemon Yellow and Pearl Cobalt Blue paints from the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors paint palette. I then used a black pen to draw a scribbly border around the painted area. I stamped the squares and leaves,  from Journaling Essentials 2, using arctic blue Versafine Clair and the crosses using verdant Versafine Clair. I stamped the Doodle Art Daffodil on separate card and coloured it with watercolour pencils. I added gold glitter gel to the stamen. After cutting it out I used gell medium to glue it to the page. Finally I added the sentiment from the same stamp set.

For this card I created a background by smoothing the card in to picked raspberry and twisted citron distress oxide which I had put on my blending mat and spritzed with water. I added the grid, circles and word using Versafine Clair nocturne ink. I added a stitched border. Then I mounted this on to a piece of pink card. I stamped the border stamp on to the pink card using Charming Pink Versafine Clair. I cut the mat to size and added it to a 5 x7 card blank. After stamping the daisy I painted it with my Kuretake Gansai Tambi Opal pink, yellow and green. I cut it out and added it to the background. Finally I coloured the circles with a white pen.
