Hi everyone, l’m here this week with some inspiration for this months challenge theme from Sally - Spring Zing
Taking my small 6x6 inch journal and two inks ,Distress ink Spiced Marmalade and Distress oxide Twisted Citron. A smooshed background was created .
Next to my dried background I added some stencilling with Dinkables from set 15 . Two more Distress inks were used - Mowed Lawn and Cracked Pistachio.
Taking some of the smaller stamps from the Doodle Art Dragonfly stamp set,I added to my page with a pop of red hearts and some green stamping . Using a yellow Posca pen some splats of paint finished my background .
Then for the main feature of my page I stamped and coloured , using a selection of Ecoline pens , the Doodle Art Dragonfly .
Before adding the dragonfly a stitched border in black finer liner pen framed my page and a few clusters of white paint pen spots gave the colours a lift .
To finish my page I added a sentiment from the Small Words stamp set , edged with black pen .
