Doodle Butterfly Art Journal Spread - https://youtu.be/iSDhqNyhK6I

Here is the spread I created...

I started by applying Dylusions paints (Lemon Zest, Fresh Lime and Bubblegum Pink) with a variety of tools.

Next I added stenciling through 3 of the d'inkables using the same paint.

After that I used archival inks to include some stamping.

Finally I added focal points with the butterfly using minimal colouring then finished with some sentiments...

Here are the products used:

* D'inkables - Stars; Circles; Regular Dots
* Background, Textures & Borders Stamps - Stars
* Doodle Art Stamps - Regular Butterfly
* Wordage Stamps - Small Words
* Dylusions Paints

Karen DT - Art Journal

Morning xx

I've been playing in my Art Journal for this weeks Bee Crafty blog, using the beautiful Ladies Profile as my focal image. This is such a versatile stamp which can be used with most other stamps

Also used:
Dandelion
Wilflowers
Brick wall Inkable
Trio of Butterflies
Distress Oxides

To begin my Art Journal page, I blended Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide through the Brickwall Inkable, in random areas, and off the edge of the page.

I stamped the Ladies Profile in Walnut Brown Oxide, and coloured her lips and eyes in with coloured pens.

The Dandelion and Wildflowers were also stamped in the Walnut Brown, and I used second and third generation stamping, to add the effect of depth.

Three butterflies were stamped, on a separate piece of card, in the Walnut Brown.  I cut them out and adhered them with 3d glue gel, to complete my page.

Thankyou for popping by and I'll be back soon

Jane DT - Inkwell ATC's

Hello!

Today on the Bee Crafty blog I have a couple of ATC's to share with you.

ATC's are Artist Trading Cards (measuring 2 1/2" x 3 1/2")  which were originally designed to trade with other people as little pieces of artwork that could also be a sort of business card.  There are still groups that trade cards and I have taken part in a few swaps however mostly mine are kept in a specially decorated box as little art works and sometimes I use them as toppers on other cards...

A while ago I bought some metallic watercolours and this year I really want to use the mediums that I have and in particular be able to create some soft and floaty watercolour backgrounds, so this was me practising!!  I used a selection of shades of gold along with a couple of greens...

As the colours were quite vintage I decided to stick with that theme and used two different sized cogs with archival ink...

Another product I am determined to use more this year are my gilding flakes, but I chose to use a stencil with them.  I used flitterglu through the circle lattice d'inkable and then added a mixture of different colours of gilding flake once the glue had gone tacky...

After sponging archival ink around the card edges I stamped my focal images onto separate card stock.  These were the inkwell and the smallest feather from the feathers set to become a quill.  I chose two sentiments from the small words set as these are an ideal size for ATC's.
Once these had been cut out, coloured and added I wanted a little more detail in the background so stamped on little touches of the script stamp...

Here are the products that were used:

* Art Stamps - Inkwell & Nibs
* Art Stamps - Assorted Small Feathers
* Art Stamps - Cogs Set
* Background, Textures & Borders - Script
* D'Inkables - Circle Lattice
* Archival Ink Pads

Thank you for looking and happy crafting!

Karen DT - Laugh Loud

Hello everyone xx

On the Bee Crafty blog today I'm sharing a card I made using the fabulous Time Measure stamp. I've combined it with the Trio of Butterflies..gorgeous xxx

Also used:
Texture, film strip and circles
Ledger Measure
Ticker Tape 2
Distress  Oxides
Dinkables

I created the background using Distress Oxides, the Ledger Measure stamp and the Metal Alpha Dinkable. I used my Gelli Plate, but you can obtain a similar background without, by doing each layer separately.

Once dry I stamped the Time Measure, and several butterflies, in Smokey Grey Versafine.
I brushed over the butterflies with my clear sparkle pen.

The Sentiments were stamped on a separate piece of card, cut up and adhered with 3d glue gel.

I adhered my finished design on to my card blank, to complete this week's make.

Many thanks for taking time to look at today's post...please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Jane DT - Hearts and Flowers Art Journal Page

Hello!

This week on the Bee Crafty blog I am sharing an art journal page...

I started by using a page in my journal that I had been using to brayer excess paint onto.  Then I had added some stenciling with the circles d'inkable...

Next I added extra colour to the white areas then stenciled using the large inkable Fernando...

Using the Small Words stamp set with archival ink I added some extra texture...

To create the first part of my focal point I used crackle paste through the Mandala 4 stencil.  Once the crackle was dry I added some brown water based colour to bring out the crackles and emphasise the edges...

I wanted a bit more of the brown colour in the background so added more stamping using one of the texture borders with archival ink...

To complete my focal point I stamped and cut out the largest of the style wire hearts and 3 of the regular doodle art sunflowers.  These were then coloured and added to the page...

Finally I added one of the Ticker Tape 2 sentiments...

Here are the products that were used:

* Background, Textures & Borders - Style Wire Heart (Large)
* Background, Textures & Borders - Texture Borders
* Doodle Art - Sunflower (Regular)
* Wordage - Ticker Tape Sentiments 2
* D'Inkables - Circles
* Large Inkables - Fernando
* 6 x 6 Inkables - Mandala 4
* Archival Ink Pads

Thank you for looking and happy crafting!
