DT Kerrie - 'Baby It's Cold Outside' - Beryl FASHIONette's

Hiya and Welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty Stamps

This week I am sharing with you an 8x8inch Card that could be used as a Christmas or Winter Birthday card, I was inspired to use pale shades of ink for the background and bolder for the main image.

I love to use uncommon colours for my winter makes just to be a little different... blues with browns is one of my favourite combinations

For the background I used the 'Background Text' stamp from the 'Snow Words' stamp set which I stamped using 'Wheat' Versamagic Ink, I then stamped some 'Snowflakes' from the 'Snow Flake Flurry' stamp set using 'Aspen Mist' Versamagic Ink. I love the subtle look these pale inks give.

I stamped the gorgeous 'Beryl' from the 'FASHIONettes' collection using 'London Fog' Memento Ink and then coloured her using a mixture of my coloured pencils, I chose similar but bolder colours from the background to make her stand out. I drew over her eyes and eyelashes using an archival liner pen to make them pop

For the senitment I stamped 'Baby It's Cold Outside' from the 'Snow Words' stamp set, first using Aspen Mist and then I stamped again using 'Rich Cocoa' Memento Ink offset from the first to create a shadow effect.

I created the Flourishes using some diecuts and some snowflakes that i stamped onto pearlescent card using the Aspen Mist and Wheat inks from before. I cut the snowflakes out and layered them over the diecuts, adding gems for some bling.

I really love how this card has turned out, I may just have to make a few more for the festive season

Marleen DT - Cheryl

Hi guys..

Another week has passed and its once again time for me to share my inspiration for

Today I've made a little card using the "Beryl" stamp.
You can find her and all the other amazing stamps in the STORE...

A very simple card. Beryl was stamped onto watercolour card and coloured with distress markers.
I used chalk around her to give a bit of debth to the image.
My background is made just using black and white card stock. The white piece has been run through my bigshot in an embossing floder before added to the card.
I finished the card witha few gems.
Ive left the greeting of it until I need the card. I always like to have a couple of cards lying in case of an emergency.

And that is all from me for today. I hope you like what Ive made.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Marleen DT - Beryl

Morning Blogger friends
and thank you for popping by..

Its once again wednesday and that means its my turn to share a bit of inspiration.

I have once again had a play with my new "Beryl" stamp..

I just LOVE the Fashionette stamps. They are so much fun and the girls have so much "attitude". They are great for teenage card I think..

To see the full range of stamps from Bee Crafty, head over to the STORE..

Here is what I have made for this week:

Beryl is stamped on watercolour card stock, using Staz-on, then coloured wiht distress markers.

I layered up Beryl using gluegel. I find it gives great dimenssions on cards.

This card is actually made with the left over of the scrappage I made a few weeks ago. All the paper and embelishments is from a 12x12 pack I had in my stash.

And that is all for today. I hope you like what Ive made.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Marleen DT - Beryl

Morning Blogger friends..

I have a bit of inspiration for you all today.

I got new stamps to play with the other day and simply just had to play strait away.
Today I have made a scrappage with the

Here is what I have made:

An LO of my youngest daughter Abbie. She loves dressing up, a right little princess.. A right little Fashionette lol

Ive used the "Beryl" stamp, coloured with distress markers.

My papers was some I found in my HUGE stack of 12x12 papers. I cut most of my embellishments from one of the sheets.

When scrapbooking, dont be afraid of adding some of your embellishments over your photo. It adds interest as well hiding "noise" on your photo.

 Abbie :-)

And that is all from me for today. If you want to see the full range of Stamps from Bee Crafty, do pop over in the STORE.. Loads of fantastic ones there xx

Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.
