Blimey it's been ages since I popped in here. How have you all been, well I hope. Well at the moment I'm having a very pleasurable day off, only spoke to the shop 38 times, been in once and refreshed the website on and off al day so yes, a good day off.................................

We've now got our Christmas lights on and a few dec's in the shop. I say a few that's because with all the new stock there is only a bit of space. We are still expecting quite a bit of stuff including the Disney carts for the Cricut and the paper Dolls too. I think Santa is going to have his work cut out this year with the amount we have put by and already gone out - those poor little reindeer's.

Keep your eye on the website for our Christmas opening hours we will be doing a few extra over December and remember we are open this Sunday 2nd Dec. so pop along and see Sam. She's boss that day and will be able to help with all your crafting queries. We are also putting kit's together, topic specific. so if you know what area of crafting you want we will put a kit together for you, be it Scrapbooking, Cardmaking or Jewellry making.

Finally I'm having what I consider to be a well earned holiday next week so look out for my return as you never know what I might bring back with me...........nudge nudge

So I'll say goodbye for now......

Oi Oi

how the devil are you - its been a while!!! that Beverley Jayne wouldn't let me blog - just kidding! wish i had the time!!!!

Well whats new - erm its was my birthday couple of weeks ago for which my wonderful parents got me the best part of a silhouette machine - bev bought me an awesome hairdryer - i have a lot of hair for those of you that don't know me - and hubster got me a new mobile - so all in all i can dry me hair talk to people and cut stuff out - HOWEVER NOT ALL TOGETHER - dont try this at home!!

The shop is so exciting at the moment - new stuff in every day i can't keep up myself its brilliant - having the best job in the world is a blessing i must say - i only wish i could stop trying to take everything home.

Keith is brewing nicely - for those of you not aware (keith has been mentioned before) keith is the bump shape that bev is hiding under her jumper -so basically she is either ironing her t-shirts over a wok or oh my goodness - SHE'S PREGNANT!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyy i'm going to be an Aunty!!!!! i can't wait and as daft as i am most of the time can i just say from the bottom of my heart how wonderfully happy i am for her!!! ooh what a girl i am!

Anyway back to the shop - loads of new stuff as i said - and more to the point lots of bits n pieces in the pre christmas clearout bins - lots of bargains to be had.

We are also lucky to have an extra pair of hands in the shop this week by way of Rachel our lovely work experience girly - she's a great asset with buckets of knowledge and crafty experiencefor someone of her age a meer 15 - oh them was the days - anyway she's going to pop on and give you a quick hello then i'll come back to wrap it up for today here goes.................

Hmmm.... what shall I say? Well this is my third day of work experience and so far it's been great. In between wondering whether skeletons have bums or not and making a couple of stack-its cards, I've done a bit of work. There's some new goody boxes to have with lots of lovely embelishments in them - I just wish I had a bit more money. Only two days left before I have to go back to school :( and then I have to do boring work. I'm not sure what else to say except for a great big thank you to everyone at Bee Crafty for welcoming me here and letting me have a play with all their goodies. I can't think of a better work experience than this as I get to see all their new stock - I just keep getting more and more ideas. Anyway I'll leave you with Sam who's going to finish her MONSTER blog.

I'm back - right just to clarify the skeletons bum thing - Rachel bought me and bev chocolate lollies today and mine was a skeleton and i merely pointed out where the stick was.

Ok guys me thinks thats more than enough for one day so you take care and keep up the good crafting!!!!

speak again soon

Let's have a sing song

Today is Sam's birthday I won't tell you how old she can blog on Wednesday and she wants to tell you she can :)

So I was thinking lets have a sing song but first a little bit of trivia:

"Happy Birthday to You" is a song which is sung to celebrate the anniversary of a person's birth. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, "Happy Birthday to You" is the most popular song in the English language, followed by "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" and "Auld Lang Syne." The song has been translated into many languages, though it is often sung with the English lyrics even in countries where English is not a primary language.

The melody of "Happy Birthday to You" was written by American sisters Patty Hill and Mildred J. Hill in 1893 when they were school teachers in Louisville, Kentucky. The verse was originally intended as a classroom greeting entitled "Good Morning to All". The version as we know it was copyrighted in 1935 by the Summy Company as an arrangement by Preston Ware Orem, and is scheduled to expire in 2030. This was the first known written version to include the lyrics. The company holding the copyright was purchased by Warner Chappell in 1990 for $15 million, with the value of "Happy Birthday" estimated at $5 million.[1] While the current copyright status of the song is unclear, Warner claims that unauthorized public performances of the song are technically illegal unless royalties are paid to them. It is unknown, but speculated upon who wrote the lyrics to "Happy Birthday to You

Okay now everyone together

Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to You
Happy Birthday to Sam
Happy Birthday to you

Beautiful singing voices, now I would like some Birthday cards to put in the gallery so if you just e-mail them to me at shop@beecrafty.net. I will get them up

See you later folks (pub tea tonight mmmmmmmmmmm)

Sunday Morning........................

Well I'm up at least, it was a good night. We all went to Laura's ( our fabby Saturday assistant) wedding party and have a great time so you'll understand why the curtains are still drawn and the radio is on quiet........................sssssssssssssshhhhhhhhh don't laugh that loud please.
I must say she looked absolutely stunning in ivory brocade, as did the bridesmaids and groom, looked exceedingly handsome.

Well it was a busy ole day in the shop yesterday and we had some lovely visitors in from north of the border. Bless, he said that he thought they'd stopped of at every craft shop between East Kilbride and us on route. What a great hubby. In fact we have folk in from far and wide yesterday so "thank you " to you all, we are really grateful for you taking the time to seek us out and also to all of you making those return trips again thanks, it's a good feeling to know that you put us so highly on you shopping venue list.

Sam has been playing with some of the new Christmas embossing templates so I'll post pictures as soon as they are turned into cards. Well I'm off to Bev's for dinner so take care and speak to you soon.

TIS I :)

Hello, 'tis me again.

Well it's been 24hours since my return from a week-end in Holland and what a fabby time Dh and I had. Not only did we manage to go to the suppliers and buy lots of new goodies but we managed a couple of days to ourselves just mouching around doing touristy type things.

Here's a couple of picture's of the barges on the Waal Canal that is at the bottom of the road to where we go. Can you see the beaches on the other side, the canals have these all along them, it's just beautiful. also we've brought back some fabby new workshop ideas so watch out for these being posted in the workshop section of the website.

and just for the hell of it here's a couple of picture's I took as we drove along the coast below Calais.

How lovely is that - and those guy's didn't catch anything the whole time we were there either and another fool went swimming.......
well the sun's come out so I'm of to do some gardening, yes I'm having another day off, how cool is that. It's all thanks to my lovely girls and now that Sam is on board it should happen a bit more often, so take care and speak to you soon.

When did she do that???

I was convinced I watched her like a hawk!! I have to she's probably off ordering stuff now whilst I talk to you. ah well new month so I'll let her away with it.

The VAT finally got finished but I don't know why it was a real slog this time just seemed never ending and every time I though I was finished a new pile of receipts would just pop up out of nowhere and all my figures would have to be done.

To anyone local, did you see my ugly mug in the Cotswold and Vale, double chins galore, I must be one of the very most unphotogenic people on the planet, don't get me wrong very very very very occasionally there is a photo of me I don't thing urrrrrrggghhhhh but in general, yup that's what I think. I was very chuffed with my article though, don't get me wrong rereading there is probably a few grammatical oopsies that I would take care of but none as big as crapbooking, which their person wrote last year I could of screamed my head off, PLUS it makes us all see how important one letter is:)

Anywho(sorry I get the feeling I'm rambling)is everyone back to regularity i.e. schools going back or are we all still recovering from the summer holidays? Well my gorgeous little nephew had his very first day at school yesterday, it was sooooo exciting PLUS it was his birthday too, so we had a Scooby Doo Party which was lots of fun, with a Mystery Machine Cake, that the boss had made for him by a lady that comes in the shop which was not only funky but absolutely delicious, chocolate yummy yum yum.

Right I'm gonna get and get back to it, if I don't get back before it's me and Sam this weekend so come by and say hello
