However what I do have is the first of 3 wonderful layouts she has produced for use using the new 12 x 12 papers from Crafts House and our Brilliant Blossoms that are currently only available in store but coming to a craft show near you soon also on line at beecrafty.co.uk

I think you will agree the stitching on this layout really does set it aside from others and the delicate lacing is lovely. This is done using the Fiskars Border Punch

I think you'll agree the use of those lovely summer colours reflect the beach photograph perfectly...........

Still time to get your photo in!!!

Well as you will know by now we have a competition on the go to come up with the most inventie/creative photo containing a Bee Crafty bag! You have until the end of July to get in your photo's and the best one will win a £10 voucher to spend as they wish at Bee Crafty!


Can I also just take the time to say a big thankyou to everyone who came in for the Crafters Companion Demo day - it was a good day and was lovely to see everyone as always - The Demo days are done for you so if there is something you want to see why not let us know and we can try and work in a Demo day suited for you!


Also if a Demo day isn't what you want and would like a more hands on approach why not try a workshop - again we can tailor these to you. This way the products are at your fingetips with a wide range of hints and tips proving valuable to every crafter.

New Acrylic Book Templates

We have some lovely new templates in from Colour My World. They are all acrylic and extremely durable, coming in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. There are page shapes, card templates, animals, christmas designs and some fabulous letter books.

Well I'm off cropping now so I've added a couple of sample picture for you of one Sam made, so take a look and we'll see ya soon.

The Bag Competition

Here's the info

We will be running a monthly competition and all you need is a Bee Crafty bag!

Take one Bee Crafty bag (any size plastic or linen) as long as it is one with our bee on it then its useable. Take a photo of the bag somewhere exciting (like on your holidays) or bizarre (we quite like those) and then send it to us via e-mail to shop@beecrafty.net.

Every month the photo's we receive will be judged by another business on Blackminster Park and then the best one will receive a £10 Bee Crafty Voucher.

The pictures will be given to the judge at 5.00pm on the last day of the month.

We will announce a winner when they have reached their decision.

More new things

Hey everyone hope you are OK!

So then have you seen the new things? Well here's a couple for you - new Chipboard letters numbers and shapes - you can find the category here and tomorrow I will be loading more onto the page for you to see - it seems we can't load the new products on as fast as they are turning up at the moment but we're getting there!

Decoupage anyone? OK so as you know we have a huge range of decoupage and at the moment we have some half price cut heaven packs in from the Jolly Nation ranges.

we have had some fantastic entries for the Bee Crafty bag competition - keep them coming in - as I said before its the best - most inventive picture judged by the other businesses within the park where Bee Crafty is located.

Hi everyone

So then who fancies winning a £10 voucher to spend on anything you like in Bee Crafty?

Well we will be running a monthly competition and all you need is a Bee Crafty bag! Now this probably sounds a little silly however take one Bee Crafty bag (any size plastic or linen) as long as it is one with our bee on it then its useable. Take a photo of the bag somewhere exciting (like on your holidays) and then send it to us via the contact us page on the website.

Every month the photo's we receive will be judged by another business on the park we are located at and then the best one will receive a prize. This time the prize will be a voucher - now we are half way through June already so the first judging won't take place until July and of course we will put the picture on the blog of the winner!

I will try and do some "examples" the main thing is be creative with where and how you photograph your bag.

OPEN DAY

What an amazing day, thank you everyone for making yesterday such an amazing success. Not even the weather could dampen everyones enthusiasm for crafting. I would personally like to thank George, Lucy, Tina, Sam, Ady, Lindsey, Bev, Laura, Donna and Ellie, with a special thank you to Bill for doing all the lunches and even running customers around for us. But most of all I would like to thank all our customers new and old (you now who you are Karen) for coming out to see us.

Well what now?.............................

I know, DEMO DAYS.......................

So early July we will have Lucy and George back showing us their amazing creations using the Crafters Delight Templates and Keepsake Embossing Boards so watchout for that day, it'll be fabby................

But for now I will be doing regular demo's using the amazing
New CRAFTROBO cutting machine. Ever wanted to personalise your cards, cut your own embellishment, make gift bags and boxes. This new machine will help you to cut names, titles, borders, 3d designs etc etc etc.........the possibilities really are endless....................

Also Lindsey has offered to come back and do workshop, so we are thinking a Design-A-Bag - for you to come and BLING up you own Bee Crafty Canvas Bag using the NEW FABRIC PENS from Kuretake in this amazing scrolly, swirly, fonty sort of way...........................you could even bring along your own items like trainers, tshirts etc and alter them.

Anyway enough chatter from me, I'm off to the shop to clear up now and then I wil post some pic's from Saturday..................................
