Hi, this week I have a trio of tags using the small flowers from the Spring Flowers Doodle Art stamps and bits and pieces from my bit box .
Firstly working on all three tags and using Squeezed Lemonade ,Tumbled Glass and Saltwater Taffy a smooshed background colour was added to each tag .
Next using the background Script stamp and the same three inks each tag was given a layer of script .
Over this I added some scraps of catalyst cards, some torn pieces and some more precisely cut .
Then using more distress inks in corresponding colours and the filler stamps from the Spring Flowers Doodle Art stamps more layers were built up on each tag . The colours used were Cracking Campfire , Blueprint Sketch ,Villainous Potion and Picked Raspberry.
The nextstep was to have a little rummage in my bit box , where I found the three clocks from the Time is Free Art stamps set and three butterflies from the Birds and Butterflies Art Stamp set .All I needed to do was cut them out ,as there was all ready lots of colour in my background I chose to leave them mono chrome .
Next l stamped out the smaller version of the Spring Flowers , the Daffodil , Tulip and Lillius .These were then coloured with Ecoline water colour pens .
Here are my finished tags and I’m afraid to say this is where I got a little carried away completing them and didn’t take s many photos as I should . However as you can see I mounted them on to black card and added a white stitched border. Then glued a clock ,butterfly and flower on each one along with a sentiment from each stamp set .
