This morning we had a great class doing a Stepper Card,

 

 

It was great fun and I made cupcakes too, so ALL good

 

 

The next card making class is Wednesday 12th March and we are doing

All samples must be made using only Bee Crafty Polymer Stamps, this means no other stamp ranges everything else, like embellishments etc,  we are happy for you to go with your own creativity.
The Stamps must be the main feature of the samples.

Flower Power...

Hi ya, long time no write....

Here's a quick card made today for a lady looking for a simple idea to teach at her day care centre...

The brief from her was that it had to be easy for those with dexterity problems yet effective. Also using very little product to create to keep cost's to a minimum as they have next to no funding...

She also needed it to be versatile in as much could be any colour or pattern so she could use up odds and ends of card and paper she had in the store cupboard...

 

I hope you'll agree that this simple design is both cute and flexible, took me about 5 mins. to come up with the idea and 20 mins. to complete this first one, including the stamping of the image (Bee Crafty WORDage) which could be changed to suit the recipient...

Most of you that know me know I'm rubbish at the photo's - the red square is actually mounted onto an ivory square card but it just doesn't show up (I'll try and get Bev to do a new one)...

I will be doing a tutorial on this lovely card for anyone wishing to reproduce it, but in the meanwhile if you would like it feel free to email me julie@beecrafty.net and I will forward you full instructions...

Spookylicious

Afternoon All,

 

I wanted to show you this gorgeous card made by Julie using the NEW Spellbound Abi stamp

 

 

I coloured Abi in using ProMarkers using an assortment of greens, purples and greys. Julie then die cut her and layered on a fab black card using more die cuts and her very own Spookylicious sentiment.

The Art Journaling Class

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

 

and the beginning of a new week at Bee Crafty. We had a Mixed Media Art Journaling Class on Friday and it was brill and I wanted to share some photos of the ladies creations.

 

 

 

Mixed Media is all about using anything and everything on your journaling pages to create texture and dimension along with colour.

 

First of all for any class you need cakes, so I made some simple vanilla cupcakes, with pink buttercream edible glitter and sparkles.

 

 

Then its time to get messy, we used flowers, dylusions, distress paint, gesso, glue, lace, hessian mesh, inkables, and much much more if it was available it went on!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see we had a great time, our next class is

Inchies & BEAUtanicals

Hi Everyone

 

Have a look at this Card using inchies

 

 

This was sooooooo much fun to make, I used Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade & Salty Ocean Tim Holtz Distress Inkpads to colour my Chipsters Inchies.

 

Once they were dry I then stamped using Tim Holtz Black Soot all different designs from the BEAUtanicals ranges.

 

I then highlighted them using a really fine paintbrush and the Zig Opaque White Ink.

 

I arranged them on the card and stuck them down using white glue and layered up using

co-ordinating card stock.

 

It was brilliant fun to make and it would be so easy to change for different colours and adjust to suit the recipient and I just love it.
