Using this lovely MDF butterfly as the focal point gives really nice depth and dimension to a card.
Colour the solid wooden part of the butterfly with acrylic paint, and the top part of the butterfly in a coordinating colour.

I heat embossed the solid part so that it had a sheen to it. Stick the two together with a sturdy glue.

On green cardstock I stamped the Ledger with black ink. The card was textured so the stamped image was quite faint which I liked for this card. I added some black ink through one of the stencils and then added some texture paint.
Added washi tape as elements before using sewing to add all the layers together.
