Hi , this week I have a double journal page to share with you for my step by step .
My first step was to ink across both corners of pages with two distress oxide inks . Salty Ocean and Squeezed Lemonade allowing them to blend together to create a third colour , a lovely soft green .
Next I used Distress ink Blue Print Sketch through a honey comb stencil diagonally across the page and randomly in the corners .
I then used some of the some of the smaller stamps on the Doodle Art Dragonfly to add to my background and using the leaves from the D’inkables set14 I added some light stenciling over the yellow in Mowed Lawn distress ink . A bold stiched boarder was then added with black sharpie pen .
Next came the dragonflies as this is a double page I had lots of room so decided to 3 would fill the page nicely . These were coloured using Ecoline water colour pens in vivid colours .
My dragonflies were glued down in position. I then used some Posca pens to doodle a few more dots and dashes on to my page .
The last step was to add a sentiment and after a little browsing I decided on these from the Ticket Tape 3 stamp set . To give them more definition I ran my black pen a long the edge to give a small boarder .
