Alison CT - Vintage Painted Gaze

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing a vintage page in my art journal using one of the Painted Gaze face images. I felt that the distressed look of the paint would add to the vintage look.
To begin I blended vintage photo distress oxide around the edges of the page. I sprayed water onto my fingers and shook it off onto the inked area and then patted this dry with kitchen roll.
I sponged shapphire Dina Wakley acrylic through the distressed diamonds inkable. I washed my stencil before the paint could dry on it.
When the paint was dry, I cut the collage paper to size and used matte medium to adhere it to the page.
Using just the ink in my blending brush, I blended vintage photo around the edges of the image. As most of the distressed diamonds were hidden, I added some over the image using uncharted mariner distress oxide.
Next, I used rusty hinge distress oxide to add some perspective dots to the page.
On seperate card I stamped the gerberas and the leaves. I used second generation stamping- stamping, then stamping again without reinking. I coloured the images with distress oxide in mustard seed, rusty hinge and uncharted mariner. I then cut them out.
I added some hessian ribbon to the bottom left corner of the page.
I used matte medium to add the fliwers and leaves over this.
I chose the sentiment from the Wordy Stickers 3 and blended vintage photo distress over them and added a sketchy bordere with a fineliner.
I added them to the bottom right of the page.
Heres the finished page again.
