For my first sample I created a background with a mix of watercolour paints, a gold pisca pen and distress oxides. I then cut out the image from the A5 Moths and Peonies catalyst collage paper. I used matte medium to glue it to the page. I used a dinkable from set 15 and texture disc from set 4 with distress oxides to add to the background. I added a stitched border. I used a white posca pen to highlight areas of the Moths wings. Finally I added Wordy Stickers from set 3.
For my second sample, I created a background using yellow and ultramarine brushes. I stamped three of the Moths directly onto the page and coloured them with a white pencil. I added a sentiment from Ticker Tape 3.
For my third sample, I created a background by adding picked raspberry and broken china distress oxide direct to the abstract big one and spritzing it lightly with water before pressing it directly on to a puece of card. When it was dry, I stamped the Peony Print stamp using glamorous Versafine Clair ink and coloured it with watercolour pens and a wet paintbrush. I added a sentiment from the small words stamp set.
For my fourth sample, I used matte medium to glue one of the A5 Autumn Portraits catalyst collage papers to the page in my journal. I used portobello, fallen leaves and acorn ink to stamp some of the leaves from the mixed leaves stamp set around the edge of the page. I then blended scorched timber distress oxide around the edge of the page. I added a stitched border using an apricot posca pen. On separate card I stamped three flowers from journaling essentials 4 and two leaves from the mixed leaves stamp set and cut them out. I glued these in the bottom right corner. Finally I added a sentiment from Wordy Stickers 3 adding a stitched border using the apricot Posca pen.
For my fifth sample, I trimmed one of the A5 Moths catalyst collage papers and edged it with abandoned coral distress oxide before sticking it to a page in my journal. I then used distress watercolour pencils to lightly colour the images. I added circles behind the moth using the circles dinkable from set 3 with fossilised amber distress oxide, being careful not to add ink over the moth.
For my final sample, I trimmed, then glued an A4 Moths and Peonies catalyst collage paper in to my black journal. I added coffee stains using the dinkable from set 9 and Antique Linen distress oxide. I added the chevron using the texture disc from set 2 with shabby shutters distress oxide. I added yellow dots using the dinkable from set 15 and a posca pen. I coloured the images with watercolour paints, then blended picked raspberry distress oxide around the edges.
