Calee CT - Week 43 palette colours

Hello , this week I have been having a play in my journal with the eek 43 palette colours .

My first step was to collect together inks and Ecoline water colour pens in the colour palette and find a new page in my A5 journal .

Choosing the greens from this colour palette , distress inks cracked pistachio and lucky clover. I lay down colour all over the page using a scrunched up plastic bag , which gave a lovely texture to my first layer of background.

This was followed by some stencilling using distress oxide wilted violet and the centre section of the swirling circles Inkable . At this stage I also inked around the edge of my page with the same ink .

Introducing another colour from the palette , villainous potion and using stamps from the Journal art elements 3 stamp set ,a border of hearts was added along with some random clusters of hearts .  Using the sun stamp from the Doodle Art Rainbow birds a sun was stamped into the centre of each spiral of  circles . These were coloured yellow and some yellow circles stamped again using stamps from the Journal  art elements set .

My focal images for this page were stamped from the Doodle Art Rainbow Birds , Journaling essentials #4  and Autumn Floral Art stamp sets . These were all coloured with inks and water colour pens from the week 43 colour palette.

When these were dry I  added white highlights with a gel pen and some previously stamped tape measure borders from the Art stamp set stitch borders .

My page was finished by gluing down all of my stamped elements on the my background and choosing a sentiment from the wordy stickers sheet  3B and drawing a bold black stitched border .
Thank you for stopping by this week  , hopefully you found my steps useful.
Happy crafting
Calee
