Clare DT- Tree shillouette, Brushos and three cards!

The weekend is upon us yet again and i for one am overjoyed. Even though it has been a four day working week it seemed much longer. Well i am here with my Bee Crafty slot and this week I have brought to you three cards using one stamp, the fabulous Beautanicals tree shillouette stamp. Along with the stamp, for each card I used Brushos and embossing powder. The cards are all different in many ways but i have kept the technique similar. I will post the links for additional products used with the photos.

For this make I stamped the tree with watermark ink and heat embossed with clear powder. After that I sprinkled the brushos over the tree and spritzed with water to explode the colour. Once dried I randomly stamped Crackle paint stamp and used the Inkables easy frame heart mask and mini blending tool along with tea dye distress ink to ink my heart frame. To finish i applied liquid pearls around the heart.

In the above card once the Brushos were dry I went over the tree coloured areas with a Wink of stella brush.

Marleen DT - "Clover" backdrop border stamp.

Hi guys..
Back with another post for
For today I've made another scrappage. I've used the Backdrop border stamp called "Clover"
You can find it in the STORE with all the other goodies.

This stamp is one of those that can be used for so many things. So far, Ive only had a couple of plays with it, but it is one I will be using over and over.

For todays project, I wanted a subtle look. I wanted the stamp to frame the photo of my daughter yet to really set it off, and I really think I achived that.

Ive used my border stamp arround the 2 sides of a sheet of A4 card stock. I used Adirondack ink in Aqua. I just inked up the stamp and stamped one after the other till the whole side was covered.
The stamp is a clear stamp so its really easy to line them up..

The rest of the LO is simply just layering up. The tag, the flowers, the gems and washi tape is all bits from my stash and the text is made on my dymo and just added to the page with foam pads to raise the words.

And that is all from me for today.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Kerrie DT - FASHIONetttes 'Peggy'

Happy Friday so its my turn to post for Bee Crafty

I ordered some new Stamps & Inkables Templates in the last 2 weeks and couldnt wait to get inky - I love the FASHIONette's so much and I've been eager to try out the templates with my Distress Inks

I stamped 'Peggy' onto watercolour cardstock (which I had trimmed to fit an 8x8 cardblank with a few mm border) using Archival Ink because I wated to use lots of water and didnt want the image to bleed. I then stamped again onto eclipse masking tape and cut her out to make a mask which I fixed over her on the watercolour cardstock.

The background I created by blending 'Antique Linen' & 'Tattered Rose' distress inks using a round blending tool. I then placed the 'Circles' inkables template over the corners and sprayed through with water, then used a 'microfibre cloth' to remove the excess water and lift the colour away from the wet areas too. this showed up quite faint though as the colours I used were a bit pale.

Next I used the 'Metalwork Alpha' inkables template around the edges using 'Victorian Velvet' distress ink. I inked the edges using 'Pumice Stone' distress ink. I sprinkled over some rock salt and sprayed with water, waited for the salt to react a bit then dried the card using a heat gun on a low setting. I brushed the salt off to reveal the speckles where it had reacted with the ink.

Next I stamped the 'Maple Outline' stamps slightly off the page and painted over them using 'Pumice Stone' distress ink. I also randomly stamped the 'Large Branch' BEAUtanicals stamp accross the top of the card and 'Dandies' Backdrop Border stamp along the bottom of the card using 'Frayed Burlap' distress ink.

I also randomly stamped the 'Cow Parsley' & 'Branches' BEAUtanicals stamps randomly using 'Tattered Rose' & 'Victorian Velvet' around the edge of the card.

I reused the 'Circles' inkables template around the corners again dry template this time using 'Antique Linen' distress ink and the round blending tool, this showed up a lot better with the paler colours.

I then removed the mask from 'Peggy' which revealed that no ink had slipped through and she was perfectly blank for me to add colour to. I used Distress Inks as watercolours using a blending mat and a waterbrush. The colours I used were all the same ones from the background.

I matted the finished picture onto dark brown mirror board and attached to my 8x8 cardbalnk using foam tape.

Lastly I stamped the 'Decision to Try' WORDage stamp onto an offcut of watercolour card using the 'Pumpice Stone' ink, I then trimmed the words out and matted them onto dark brown mirror board, I then fixed them to the finished card using foam tape for dimension.

Hiya and welcome to my Friday post for Bee Crafty

I was very excited to receive more Fashionette's this week so of course I had to break them open straight away and get making with one of them 'Tracy' she is so so gorgeous

The first thing I did was chose my papers, as a hoarder I always have a few boxes of off-cuts that I keep to use later, I make myself a challenge each week to make a few cards using mainly off-cuts to use them up. I chose this lovely mint coloured piece with bird cages & vines on and that became my theme - I colour matched with a light brown piece with dark brown vines on

I coloured 'Tracy' using Copic Markers

Marleen DT - Scull

Hi guys..

Back with another post for

For my LO (LayOut) today I've used the
"Scull" stamp. You can find it in the STORE with all the other goodies.

Here is what I've made:

For this LO I started by stamping out my scull 4 times. I've stamped with versamark and covered with black embossing powder. Once powder was melted and cooled I added the strips of patterned card stock. My title is chipboard covered with black embossing powder. The rest of the LO is finished with faux stitches a couple of pearls andmy words made with my dymo.

The photo is of my son (on the right) and my nephew (on the left). We live in 2 different countries so the boys dont get to see each other enough but when they do get together its fun, games and laughter all the way. They really are brothers from different mothers :-)

And that is all from me for today.
Many thanks for stopping by and for any comments left behind.

Kerrie DT - Tin Man - Tag

Hiya and welcome to my Friday post for Bee Crafty

This week I have made a Tag using a few of my fave stamps

Bee Crafty stamps I have used are..

They are all available from the Bee Crafty STORE along with lots of other yummy products

First I stamped the Tin Man using grey ink into the centre of the tag, I then stamped again onto a piece of wide tape from my masking roll, which I cut around the Tin Man shape to make a mask. I was the Tin Man un-coloured for later.

Next I stamped the Backdrops Border - Clover using clear embossing ink accross the bottom of the tag just touching the Tin Man's feet. I used silver embossing powder tipped over the front, tapped of excess powder and heated with a heat gun

Then I stamped the 'Da Vinci - Script' stamp over the whole tag using clear embossing ink and then used 'clear' embossing powder and heat embossed - the tag is very textured now with raised areas. I inked over using 'Weathered Wood' and 'Pumice Stone' Distress Inks over the tag.

I used the leaf stamps from the 'BEAUtanicals - Maple Solid' to randomly stamp in the corners and down the sides of the tag

I added some random stamping of the 'BEAUtanicals - Cow Parsley' stamp in between the leaves. I took the masking tape off the tag to reveal the un-coloured Tin Man

I stamped the 'WORDage - Being Happy' off the edge of the tag so only the 'look beyond the Imperfections' line was on the tag. I heat embossed using silver embossing powder.

I ran the clear ink pad over the tag edges and dipped into black embossing powder and heated with an embossing gun

I coloured the Tin Man using Alcohol Markers

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you come back soon to see more gorgeous makes by the Design Team xx

Marleen DT - Tag

Hi everyone

Darn it seems forever since I blogged last.. Well I had a little break for easter, went home to Denmark to spend some time with my family. Had a lovely time but really missed my crafting lol..
Oh and I do hope you all had a lovely easter :-)

Anyway for my post for Bee Crafty  for this week Ive made a little tag.
This week Ive used the following stamps:
You can find them in the STORE along with all the other amazing goodies.

Here is what Ive made:
For this tag I started by stamping the Happy Halloween stamp all around the edges of the tag, using staz-on black ink.. I only used some of the stamp to create a bit of faint border.

I then smothered the tag in green distress ink and stamped the Maidenhair.
stamp twice and covered it with clear embossing powder.
Once powder was cooled I added a layer of browns distress ink.

The Glad I did it stamp I stamped on a piece of card stock but cut each word out and added more distress ink before adding each word to the tag.

I finished with 2 mini paper clip and a bit of ribbon and voila..

I hope you like what I've made.
Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Clare DT - Fashionettes Rosie

Good day to you all. I'm here today with my Bee Crafty DT hat on to share with you the one of the newest fashionettes 'Rosie'. I dont often produce coloured images and being on holiday i had some extra time to play. I have also been busy in the sense of creating a new craft room. Hubby has decided that we need our dining room back so he has been busy in the cellar creating a room for me to craft. Im so excited, i have been taking photos so will post once its completed and i have moved in.

For this card I have used:

Fashionettes Rosie

Blooming beautiful sentiment from flower girl Abi

Inkables template - Alternative circles

Distress inks

This one was just a simple stamp and colour with pencils. I distressed the edge of the card with some fine sandpaper and then distress ink. I added some circles with distress inks through the inkables alternative circles and with a white pen added some doodling to the bubbles.

Thats it from me today. I am donning old clothes and a paint brush to give my new room a lick of paint so no crafting for me today but it will be worth it.

Happy crafting all.

Hugs,

DT Kerrie - Planner 'Dreams' - Vera

Hiya and welcome to my weekly post for Bee Crafty - I have moved to the Saturday Spot just for this week

I have mixed up my 2 favourite things for my project this week, 'Colouring and Planner's' and made a page marker for my A5 Planner using one of the Fashionette's 'Vera' I love this cute girly stamp

I stamped her onto super smooth cardstock and coloured her using my alcohol markers to match the pretty cardstock papers I chose to make the page marker with

I stamped the 'Dreams Come True' WORDage stamp using brown ink, inked the edges using 'Dusty Concord' distress ink and matted onto purple mirror board

The page marker needed to be completely flat to fit in my planner so I cut the folower embellishments from another piece of cardstock paper in the same pad as the other papers I used, I free hand drew the stems and leaves. I inked all the papers using distress inks 'Dusty Concord' and 'Pumice Stone' - I fussy cut the stamped image then fixed all the pieces together

I marked and punched the ring binder holes and put the page marker into my Planner - I really like how it turned out

Thank you so much for visiting today - I will be back Friday but please do visit again on Sunday and Wednesday where there will be more gorgeous projects from the talented Design Team

Have you joined the Bee Crafty Facebook group yet??? if not then why not join today

Kerrie DT - I'm Glad I Did It - TinMan

Hiya and welcome to my Friday DT post for Bee Crafty

I have made a TinMan from the Wizard of Oz Collection card using Distress Inks and a mask

To create the background I tapped some ink from Stormy Sky distress inkpad onto a craft sheet then using water and a paint brush I used the ink as a watercolour across a piece of watercolour card.

Using an inking tool and Weathered Wood distress inkpad Ive inked the edges and in from the corners, more on the top left. Using a mask I sprayed water through it, this dilutes the ink just where the water hits through the mask. I added some salt which then moves the watery ink and creates a bit more texture look. I heated the card using a heat tool and then brushed the salt away. I cleaned the mask and then inked through it randomly using Weathered wood.

I stamped the TinMan using a grey inkpad, then coloured him using Weathered Wood distress ink and a waterbrush. Once dry I went over the shaded areas again with Weathered Wood to darken the colour.

Ive added embossed details in the Corners using clear embossing ink with white embossing ink and some more lush Bee Crafty stamps.... Yuletide - Holly Swirl, Beautanicals - Branches and Cow Parsley

I stamped WORDage - Glad I Did It using a grey inkpad in the area that the TinMan is looking so it looks like he is thinking the phrase

I hope you like my project today and that you will visit again soon to see some more gorgeous makes by the Bee Crafty Design Team
