Alison CT - Dragonfly

Hi everyone today I'm sharing a step by step guide to creating this art journal page.

To begin, I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to create a background.
Next I used both the frond d'inkables from set 1 with black soot distress ink.
Then I added some text using the text inkable and the black ink already in my blending brush.

Next I blended Worn Lipstick distress ink through the Offset Dots inkable.

Then I stamped the script background stamp using distress black soot ink.
Next I used just the ink in my black blending brush through the Grande Alpha.
I then added some torn strips of washi from my stash.
On seperate card,  I stamped the dragonfly and ledger circle from the Dragonfly stamp set, the click and ledger circle from the Dragonfly Art stamp set, the tape measure from the Stitched Borders stamp set, the ledger from the Ledger, Inkwell and Nibs stamp set and the square and lines from the Journaling Essentials 2 stamp set. I gave these a watercolour wash in shades of pink and brown. When dry I cut them out and edged with Gathered Twigs distress oxide.
I glued all the elements to the page using a mix of glue and foam pads.
Finally I stamped the Dragonfly word, cut it out and edged it with Gathered Twigs distress oxide, then glued it to the page.
Products used:
Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints
Distress Ink - black soot, worn lipstick
Distress Oxide - gathered twigs
Washi tape from my stash
