Hi , this week I would like to show you how I created this journal page .
Using two distress inks , I created a smooshed background . For this I used a sheet of acetate, adding a small amount of both Fossilised Amber and Squeezed Lemonade and a couple of spritzes of water .The resulting mix was then added to my page .
When this was dry I added a few torn strips of a bright red catalyst card from the # 2 pack . Then using stamps from Jornal Art Elements 3 ,I started to build more layers , the second layer was made using pearls Big One inkable and Picked Raspberry distress ink .Finally for a some texture the last layer was made with texture paste through the diamond d’inkable from set 2.
Choosing this flower from the Journaling Essentials # 5 and stamping it out 3 times , I enjoyed some time colouring with my Ecoline water colour pens .
While my flowers were drying I decided my background needed some more details in a blue to complement the colours in my flowers ,so added some hand drawn hearts and cross hatching.My background was then finished off with a doodled border.
With a few white details added to my flowers they were ready to be glued down on to the background.

A white gel pen , black fine liner and some texture paste .
