Hi , my step by step this week is a journal page using the week 8 crafty palette colours .
My first step then was to collect some Distress inks ,and Ecoline water colour pens in the colours I needed . I also chose a catalyst collage paper from pack #2 in grey scale.
Cutting the collage paper to size ,leaving a border I glued it in to my journal .
Next I started to create my background using Distress inks Mermaid Lagoon ,Dusty Concord and Cracked Pistachio and Inkables from set 15 , some stencilling was added . Using some of the Candied Apple ink as a water colour I filled in the hearts . Then using Dusty Concord I inked all around my page drawing all of the colours together .
Next I stamped out the large Doodle art Gerbra and using a combination of inks and Ecoline pens and some water to blend it was coloured in and left to dry . Some white dots and details would be added later .
I then stamped out some leaves from the journaling essentials set #7 and a couple of the tape measures from the stitch borders art stamps set .
All of these elements were then glued on to my background and a stitched border added using a white posca pen .
The final step was to add my sentiment , this was stamped out in black ink , cut into a banner and edged with black pen . While putting my stamps away I spotted the tiny bird from the Gerbra stamp set and couldn’t resist adding 3 little birds to my page .
