Alison DT - Doodle Art Mushrooms

Hi everyone, today I'm sharing some more inspiration for Sally's challenge. For this tag I've used the Doodle Art Mushrooms stamp set.

To begin I covered the tag with a piece of old music manuscript. I used a hole punch to put the hole through the music manuscript. 

I cut out one of the front cover panels from the full colour A4 Catalyst Card packs 4.

I also cut out a rectangular piece from the Moths Catalyst Collage Paper. 

I then ripped a larger rectangle from an old book page.

I blended scorched timber distress oxide around the edge of the tag and the three pieces of paper.

I glued the papers to the tag, as shown in the photo.

I stamped the mushroom onto a separate piece of card using portobello Versafine Clair ink. I coloured them with gathered twigs,  scorched timber and aged mahogany distress oxide. I cut them out. 

I glued them to the tag, so the stems rested on the bottom of the book paper.

I then used the portobello ink to stamp the sentiment directly on to the tag.

Finally I added some ribbon and lace using a staple.
