DT Project: Tinman Suze Jo

Hey Crafters,

I hope you are all having a great weekend

Have a look at this gorgeous creation by Suze Jo.

If Only I had a Heart by Suze Jo

This is made using the fab resist technique, this is done by stamping with clear ink and embossing powder and then inked over in this case with Black Soot & Blue Distress Inks.

The background was then mat & layered onto silver mirri board  to co-ordinate not only with the theme of the tinman but what she had in store for him, then again layered onto black card.

The love of Suze's life Monsieur Tinman (this is what she calls him) is stamped onto a sheet of thin metal (Suze bled for this boy cutting him out, os if you try it be VERY careful) ... added him onto black card for an outline.

Suze completed it with the heart from the Unbreakable Heart Sentiment, cut out stars and then sprayed it all with Shimmer Glitter .

I think you'll agree the overall effect is stunning and although she ended up a little injured it is beautiful x

I hope you're having a lovely relaxing Sunday and keep your eyes peeled for more of the show goss coming tomorrow, and make sure you take a look at the other recent posts to see more Oz samples

Today is Monday which means another fab stamp release from Bee Crafty Polymer Stamps,
and not only is this weeks release a brilliant addition to your Christmas stamping it's also really good value as it is a set of 2 stamps for only £3.99

From Pauline
we have this gorgeous tag and she has some instructions if you would like to recreate at home
White card, stamped in Forest Moss and distressed. Red stickles added to lift design. Sentiment stamped in Barn door, and clear embossed, on a Spellbinders die cut, and distressed. Holly is a Marianne die, cut on coordinations, and sanded, with red stickles and screwed up ribbon added.

From Sue we have a fab tall card with the trees stamped and embossed 4 times then jauntingly place on with the message centralised

From Tracy
‎6x6 Card, Have distressed the backing paper edges using scissors, 2nd backing paper was made by clear embossing tree stamp in a random pattern then used Old paper distress ink over the whole page & Tea dye around the edge.
Coloured a doily with Old paper. Circles cut using sizzix circle dies, both the sentiment and topper were embossed using brass embossing powder, then run versamark pad around the edge and embossed.
Finished with pearls & red bakers twine....

Well i think these are gorgeous and this set really lends itself to any sort of Winter Occasion not necessarily only for a Christmas card.
