Marleen DT - Tree Silhuette

Hello everyone..

Its once again wednesday and time for my weekly slot for

This week Ive had a play with the
Ive also used the "special thoughts" stamp.
You can find both in the STORE with all the other goodies..

This little card came together really fast.
It was a simple matter of stamping my tree with Embossing ink and cover it with clear embossing powder. Once powder was melted and cooled I simply used a couple of mini misters with distress re-inkers and water in them and sprayed over the tree till I got the desired colour.
I then took a circle die and lay on top of the card and pierced the holes to sew with a pokey tool.
I removed the die and sewed up following the holes I made and voila, job done. Really quick and simple card.

And that is all from me for today.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Marleen DT - Tree Silhuette

Hi everyone..

Time for a bit more inspiration for

For today Ive used the "Tree - Silhuette" stamp as well as the "Happy Birthday/With Love" stamp.
You can find them in the STORE..

Here is what I've made for today:

This card is made using glossy stamping paper and distress inks. My tree is stamped onto black card stock with versa mark and covered with a gold/red embossing powder and then cut out.
My greeting is made the same.
I finished by adding my tree on foam pads and a gem.

And that is all from me for today.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Hi everyone and thank you for popping by..

Its once again wednesday and time for my weekly slot for

This week Ive had a play with another new stamp. This thime its the
Ive also used the "Best Wishes" stamp.
You can find both in the STORE with all the other goodies..

Here is what Ive made for this week.

For this card I took a card blank and folded the front back on itself. I then covered the front as well as the inside with a patterened paper from my stach.
I cut out my shaped square (sorry dont know the name of that shape) and stamped my tree on to it, then popped it back in the die, added a bit of red distress ink around the edges and last stamped my greeting.
I finished the card with some beads on string, a flower and a little wooden heart and voila, all done.

And that is all from me for today.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.
