Marleen DT - Pocket watch and Oxides

Hello Dear Bloggers
and Welcome to my blog..

Its once again wednesday and my turn to share some inspiration for
BeeCrafty..

For today I decided to use some of my favorites stamps and mix them with a distress oxide background that I had spare.

I have used the Pocket Watch stamp as well as the Time Flies sentiment stamp.
Find both in the STORE with loads of other goodies..

OH OH OH... Dont forget BLACK FRIDAY..
A little birdie told me that the Bee's have some special discount on, so be sure to pop over for a nosy.
.

This one is a simple oxide blended background. I just used my blending tool to dap the differnt colours on to some water colour card stock and then sprayed the living daylight out of it with water lol.. The colours have ended up lovely and muted and just looked perfect for stamping my pocket watch. I stamped it with brown distress ink and also matted my background onto brown card stock.
I finished by stamping my sentiment onto a strip of vellum, attatched on the back of the card and added a few gems.

And that is it for today. Thank you for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Im late, Im late for a very important date...

Hey bloggers..

Totally messed up today.. I was supposed to have my blog post this morning, only to forget all about it. Never even crossed my mind..
But before I pop to bed I still want to post my weekly post for

This week Ive pulled out my feathers again and did a tecnique I saw on youtube.
Its a simple masking tecnique, done loads of times but I had never seen it done with a sentiment so decided to have a try.

Both of these cards has been made by first stamping the feather and ink well on to my card stock in black ink. I then stamped a second feather and second ink well on a piece of scrap card and cut them out.
I overlayed both on my card (I used a tiny piece of double sided tape to hold them in place). I then took my mini memento pads and lined up the colours till I got like a rainbow effect of colours. I stamped the middle colour of the "Time Flies" stamp first and then spread out from there to get it even looking.
Once I had all the greetings stamped I removed the masks and voila..

On the top card I did as described above but after I was done I decided to jazz it up a bit. I added the green strips of glitter card and decided to cut a new feather and ink well to add on foam to raise them.

And that is it from me for today. Appologies to those who follow my blog and the BeeCrafty blog for the late post.
Many thanks for popping by and for any comments left behind.

Kerrie DT - Time Flies

Hiya and welcome to my Monday Post for Bee Crafty

For this card I used the smaller feathers from the 'Love & Hope Infinity' to create a background on watercolour cardstock

I stamped the feathers repeatedly over a piece of  precut watercolour card using Versamark embossing ink which I then tipped pure white embossing powder over and heated with a heat tool

I then watercoloured over the background using milled lavender distress ink

I fixed this watercoloured background to the front of my card blank

I then stamped the sentiment onto an offcut of white card which I cut using a circle die. I cut a decorative circle from a pretty die and mounted these onto the card front using foam tape

Thankyou so much for visiting my post today please do visit the Bee Crafty Blog again soon for more gorgeous makes by the amazing Design Team
